Miami HEAT History

Founded in 1988 as an expansion franchise, the Miami HEAT are one of the NBA's premier organizations, laying claim to 16 Southeast Division titles, seven Eastern Conference titles, and three NBA Championships. After hiring renowned NBA coach Pat Riley in 1995, the team won its first Championship in 2006, led by Hall of Famers Shaquille O'Neal, Dwyane Wade, Alonzo Mourning, and Gary Payton. Miami then captured back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013 with their “Big Three” consisting of Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh.

In the summer of 2019, much of the team's current core began to take shape, as the HEAT drafted guard Tyler Herro, then acquired All-Star guard Jimmy Butler to round out a roster that already featured promising big Bam Adebayo. In their current form, the team has reached the Finals twice (in 2020 and 2023).

We had a fun time at the game yesterday, even though our Heat took a beating! We will be back for the next game tomorrow night. I’m hoping we can make a miracle comeback!

  • Great game, poor arena management

by Yuri on 4/6/25Kaseya Center - MiamiRating: 1 out of 5

I was sitting in section 124 with my friends, seats 15-18 and almost the entire game there were people going back and forth to the bar in the row in front of us. They were getting up during game play, not during timeouts, and they were not the only ones doing it. It should be a rule in the arena that people should stay seated during game play. It is extremely disappointing that none of the employees at the arena (ushers etc.) came around and told people to stay seated and be courteous to those around them. Disappointing

  • Early entry warm up not worth the money

by Bball fan on 3/28/25Kaseya Center - MiamiRating: 1 out of 5

I purchased the early entry to watch warm up. It was a waste of time.e amd monet. I was 13 rows back. I turned up early for the early entry. There wasn't any direction on how to get in and what the process was. $80 to sit 13 or so rows back. Not worth it. They only had one tiny sections open. The way it's advertised isn't what actually happens.

  • Awesome experience

by Fred on 3/5/25Kaseya Center - MiamiRating: 4 out of 5

NBA games are always awesome experience, especially for us, who live in another country. The worse part was about the food availability and its price, too many people in the lines, very crowded place. But despite of that, I'd certainly do it again many times.

  • Heat at the top

by Cris Hurt on 3/2/25Kaseya Center - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

End-to-end a terrific experience, parking, security measures, pre-show activities, the start of the show, easy to buy food and shop clothes. The only thing I can suggest is to expand the 1st floor store, after the game is too crowded. Great experience overall, hope go there soon to support the Heat.
