About

For producer, writer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist Jackson Stell, the Big Wild project was born out of an ethos of curiosity. Inspired by the vast and wild nature of Big Sur after a revelatory trip to the coast, beauty and spirit has been the heartbeat of the project ever since. Stell's music career started in the electronic space where he gained global traction topping global viral charts along with his music appearing in major brand campaigns for the likes of Apple, The Olympics, American Eagle, etc. after his first releases and his debut album Superdream. As an artist, his main endeavor is one of evolution as his music  crosses over genres; he is not confined by preconceived notions of modern sound. He delves deeper into his emotional capacity and encourages those around him to open their eyes and do the same.

I’m a common concert goer and this show is definitely one of the top 3 shows I’ve been too. The energy was amazing and the music was even better. If you’re debating whether or not to go, definitely send it!!

  • Awesome Time!

We showed up right as Evan Giia was starting (as we intended). The security at the front screening people were nice and efficient. We then got to the ID checkers. It was two ladies that scrutinized me and my friend's ID for a longer than expected time. The one ID checker could not verify on her own whether or not my IL Driver's License was legit. She handed it over to her coworker to get a second opinion. If you work as an ID checker at a concert hall, you should be able to identify all local and federal IDs without needing someone else. I would have laughed if both of them said that it was a fake. They would have got my military ID then and felt very stupid. All I'm trying to say is that they should make individual decisions and not rely on crutches to verify IDs. We immediately got drinks and enjoyed Evan Giia's set. The drink prices were right around where we thought they would be. After she got off stage, we went back to the bar to grab a couple of beers. The line took forever! It took about 20 minutes to get to the bar to get two beers. Many people would cut us off in line. Two ladies felt pretty bad after the fact and they apologized. We were pretty chill and was like "No worries". Once we got back into the crowd, we could only stand towards the back of the front pit when beforehand we were able to be right in the center. My recommendation is to have line barriers set up so its not one big cluster of people cutting other people. This concert was one of my favorite concerts to date. This was my first concert at Delmar Hall and it did not disappoint. I love going to The Pageant and Delmar Hall especially when I see good acts such as Big Wild, Jai Wolf, ODESZA etc. playing. We will be back!
