Great time OUTSTANDING show! Great food GREAT staff, Kimberly is a true asset, Great venue!
Cee Lo put on a great show. I had never been to Sony Hall and enjoyed the venue very much. I could just sit in at a table by myself and drink my coke. Unique indeed.
The show started right on time. The mix of oldies and Xmas songs had everyone chair-dancing and then actually dancing. Lots of fun!
It was absolutely incredible! I just Wish it lasted bit longer.
His voice and control were truly awesome. Can sing an array of music from R&B to opera without any thought. Demonstrated true professionalism and his band was fantastic!
Ceelo is extremely talented. The show was fabulous and included a large variety of songs. He played his hits, Christmas songs, and a few other songs I never would've expected!
This show was the best! Intimate so the sound was amazing! And for a holiday show it was a fun and quirky mix of a variety of genres of music. Had a blast and loved the show!
Sound was bad. Concert was good. His son could have pulled his pants up before taking the stage full of mature adults.
This was a great way to kick off the holiday season!
The Ames Center is an intimate facility with a very kind and helpful staff (disabled patron) that is much appreciated. CeeLo Green is an amazing performer with vocal and stylistic ranges that were a wonderful surprise. He had white, suburban, Protestant Minnesotans dancing in the aisles. His backup musicians and singers were excellent as solo performers and in a backup role. And no one did Jingle Bells! If you want a holiday concert that is musically exciting and ranges from traditional to hip hop this is your gig.
On time, professional, played all his hits, band was good, what a treat, grateful to have seen this concert! Loved it!
CeeLo still got it. The show was amazing. He sang some of his hits, holiday favorites, and surprised us all with some covers. Highlight was when his son jumped on stage and sang one song. Everybody was up dancing. This is a concert NOT TO BE MISSED!
Great concert. I would have liked more Christmas music
Ceelo Green is truly a gifted performer. He and his ensemble were incredibly talented and entertaining. This may have been my all time favorite holiday show.
CeeLo and his band were amazing. The opening DJ could have done a better job of engaging the crowd.
I loved this show. CeeLo was an amazing performing. He kept the show moving at a really great pace, did songs you could sing along to with him. His whole band are extremely talented musicians. The whole show just made you want to get up and dance. I'm so glad I went to this show. I will definitely go see him again when he comes back to my city!
CeeLo Green was so fun! Great songs, upbeat & very entertaining show! The venue at the Cleaopatra's Barge is so intimate..... Its like he is performing a private show just for you. We purchased seat #53 which was a small love seat on the side. It was very comfortable and lounge like. Good seat, although we did have to deal with the production crew & friends working and standing in front of us at times because the sound equipment was located directly in front of the couch. Probably not a bad seat in the place because the venue is small.
Cee Lo didn't have the energy to stay on stage for more than one or two songs at a stretch. He filled in with various guests I was not interested in. And he no longer has th energy or ability to sing, it seems. Mostly just rapping. To top it all off, the music was almost all pre-recorded, with only a live sax player. We left early, sad we spent the money on these tickets.
I understand the crowd was not very energetic or encouraging, but for those who were responsive it would have helped if Celo had given it everything. Great singing not enough showmanship.
CeeLo is a great singer, but he seemed to struggle with this low energy Wind Creek crowd. They seemed disinterested and even frigid at times, frowning upon people who wanted to stand up, dance, and enjoy the show. This made it difficult to enjoy the show, but it doesn't change my opinion of CeeLo; he's still an awesome artist.
