Cody Jinks on Tour
Seeing Cody Jinks onstage, you get a sense of what it must've felt like to catch outlaw country legends like Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson back in the 1970s when their raw-boned brand of country music was hitting folks for the first time. Jinks brings his deep, rich voice to bear on tunes that manage to incorporate those influences while still feeling completely current. Jinks has as much rock 'n' roll in him as country, and you're as likely to hear him and his band cover songs by the likes of Dire Straits and Pink Floyd as you are to catch them playing tunes made famous by country giants like Alan Jackson and Keith Whitley. Either way, a Cody Jinks concert is first and foremost a party, where the whole audience gets involved in singing along and creating an atmosphere of fun and community.
Cody Jinks in Concert
Hailing from the Fort Worth suburb of Haltom City, Texas, Cody Jinks has forged a sound that bears strong links to fellow Texans like Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. But even though classic outlaw country is a huge influence on Jinks, he actually started out as a rocker. Long before he ever became a country singer, he was the frontman for a metal band called Unchecked Aggression in the late ‘90s and early ‘00s. He tapped into his deep country roots and reinvented himself in the late '00s, but the raw, rebellious spirit of rock 'n' roll will always be a part of Jinks' musical makeup. He released his first album in 2008 and gradually built up a grassroots following over the years. By the time he put out Lifers a decade later, his audience had grown to the point that the record made it to the No. 2 spot on the country charts, proving there's still a place in country music for rough-hewn individualism.

Great Concert! Cody Jinks is the man. Great Venue!
My husband and I couldn’t have enjoyed Cody Jinks more. He is our #1 favorite country artist right now. He puts on one hell of a show.
The only issue I had was with the venue. Although it is beautiful and a very good venue, no one cared if people from rows back came and filled empty seats. I get we all want to be close but for those of us that purchased tickets up front, it was ruined by those who didn’t have tickets getting a better view than us. There were four empty seats in front of us and four huge guys came and filled them in the last 45 mins of the concert. Paying over $1000 for these tickets and I couldn’t see due to the guys being 6 foot and better. We are only 5’3” and 5’6”. Such a huge waste of money for us!
Cody Jinks and Tanner Usrey were amazing!! This is the first time that we have been to this venue and we will be going back! Cool place and great acoustics.
Concert was great. The venue is unique. Parking was pretty easy. Will love to go back. Cody jinks sounded awesome, kept the crowd going. One of the best concerts I've been to
Cody was amazing - Ward Davis was a wonderful surprise. The venue was super clean and a great atmosphere. We can't wait to go back!
Cody and team put on a fantastic show! Had a blast. The venue was great opener. The opening band was great. Had a blast.
Cody Jinks is a very talented and entertaining artist with a top notch band. The Amphitheater is a perfect venue with a extremely friendly staff.
The venue was absolutely fabulous. It was performed at first Bank amphitheater in Franklin Tennessee. Cody Jinks came out and put on a knockout show. He is so true and down to earth. I enjoyed every single minute of it. He is a great performer along with his band. everything was top-notch. I will definitely go back there to see other concerts and most definitely will go back and see Cody Jinks
Cody did a great performance from what we can tell but unless you were within 50’ of the stage you couldn’t hear him. It was a street concert, which was not listed anywhere in the concert description and the video screens kept going out as well. The whole experience was bad enough that we left early. Won’t be going back to the Blue Note in Columbia Mo…..
Great show One of the better shows I've seen. Cody came out and played hit after hit, and showed so much love to Columbia. Went out of his way for his young fans in a heartwarming display of giving guitar picks and taking selfies with them.
.Jinks is the real deal! 5th time seeing him in different venues. He brings amazing energy and never disappoints! He has an impressive portfolio of great songs! Keep on rocking Jinks!!!
He is amazing live!! We had a great time and would go again in a heartbeat!!
Opening act we could hear just fine. When Cody started and all throughout the night we could barely hear him or make out any of his lyrics. Not the best concert experience by far and pretty disappointing.
I've seen Cody many times and he never disappoints. He's no mainstream Nashville cookie cutter musician, he actually thinks and sings for himself.
Great show! A fabulous time for fans of all ages. Looking forward to seeing Jinks this summer.
Our entire trip was booked for this concert. Shane Smith & the Saints + Cody Jinks, and we got the bonus of Mr Cauthen sitting in too. Priceless. I’m pretty sure Cody Jink’s mom gave me a wink. The staff were amazing and gave my wife a signed by them birthday card. That was very cool. This is not a listening room, and I’m pretty sure there were a lot of people there who were there just to be “there”, and that’s OK. Lot’s of people all over us during the concert, trying to sit on us, spilling drinks, all the things. In this rare instance, I didn’t care because it was great seeing Cody Jinks. The only thing that would’ve made it better is if Sunny Sweeney had played too. We loved it. ❤️
This was just a great way to 2 guys having fun and making music.
I am a huge fan of Cody Jinks. This was a great venue.
The show was awesome. The unscripted no set playlist was great. We really enjoyed it. Cody, and Ward put on an excellent show. Telling stories, great singing. The venue is a very nice place to go for good music.
