Fit for a King on Tour
Like the best metalcore bands, Fit for a King offer an uncompromising, high-energy live show full of chugging riffs, clean and unclean vocals, and thudding drums. Accordingly, this approach leads to plenty of headbanging, onstage and in the crowd, as well as ferocious mosh pits. However, the group's penchant for more melodic elements ensures a Fit for a King show also has moments of soaring, dynamic urgency full of emotional heft.
Fit for a King are road warriors known for teaming up with other metalcore and deathcore bands. In 2013, Fit for a King appeared on the Scream the Prayer tour alongside Silent Planet, Wolves at the Gate and Everyone Dies in Utah, while the group has also toured with Ice Nine Kills, Light the Torch, Emmure, After the Burial and Awake at Last, and performed on Warped Tour and at the Uprise Festival.
Fit for a King Background
Fit for a King originally coalesced in Tyler, Texas, in 2007 as a sextet featuring drummer Jared Easterling and a variety of other local musicians. The band debuted the following year with a self-titled EP, and in 2009 came out with a second EP, Awaken the Vesper. In 2011, Fit for a King self-released their first full-length, Descendants, which led to a label deal with the heavier Tooth & Nail imprint Solid State Records. From there, the group started taking off and amassing a larger audience.
Their 2013 label debut Creation/Destruction charted on the Billboard Top 200 and Christian Albums charts. Fit for a King continued releasing well-regarded albums that sold well. In fact, the band's subsequent three albums ā 2014's Slave to Nothing, 2016's Deathgrip and 2018's Dark Skies ā all reached the Top 3 of Billboard's Christian Albums chart. In May 2020, Fit for a King announced a special collaboration with We Came as Romans: the latter's Dave Stephens appeared on a new version of Fit for a King's "Backbreaker."

Iāve seen fit for a king multiple times, Iām a fan but not a die hard fan, havenāt been super fond of their more recent releases. I was at this show to see my favorite band on the planet, counterparts, and the legends TDWP. While both of those gave me exactly what I was looking for, Fit For a King stole the show and absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. Theyāve never sounded better and the energy was electric. 10/10.
Fit For a King put on such a great performance. Would love to see them again in the future.
Lots of fun. Great energy. So much crowd surfing. Drinks can be cheaper. Sticky floor
The title says it all. I didn't expect much but it was such a blast, I was blown away. Can't wait to see them again
The roxian is one of the best venues to take in a concert and the talent delivered the whole Metalcore dropout tour lineup was phenomenal and like they should the headliners stole the show fit for a king was amazing start to finish
We saw this concert at the Roxian in Pittsburgh, and I was shocked by how clean and nice the venue was, and how well organized everything was. Great experience
Intimate setting, but still big concert feel. Zero issues getting into venue or getting out.
All 4 bands stage presence and crowd interaction was 100/10. Production was clear as can be on vocals and instrumentals. VIP experience was well very organized and smooth!
1. Bangers 2. Amazing I was there for The Devil Wears Prada and they never disappoint
This show was amazing. Iāve always liked Fit for a King but seeing them live, holy ish were they amazing and so entertaining. I was in awe. 10/10
The band, the lights were both amazing, the one down side is that the sound wasnāt right for the first part of their set
Great experience great venue great price would go again
The waiting line was pretty good. It was a bit confusing to find, but I found it and it was well organized. The pull the app is scan is way better than some locations. Once you come in it's pretty big space. The merch line is not gonna lie horrible. The line The way it wraps. It's easy for people to cut you off. The concert itself was amazing. All the bands start off hard and ended in a mind blown experience. I didn't get kicked and my neck popped and squashed at times. But I'm not complaining. Thank you guys!
was a good show was fun will see again ............................................................
Ticket price was to be expected. The show was amazing and staff was great. Can't believe how much parking and drinks were though. Ouch.
I saw Fit For A King open for Peirce the Veil and I Prevail last year, when they announced a headlining tour I immediately got tickets. After a sad postponing due to some serious snow, we got to see them headline with Devil Wears Prada and it was a PHENOMENAL show. High energy, consistent sound, and a great crowd. I'd definitely see them again!
This is not my first time seeing FFAK and definitely not my last. They always know how to put on a great show and make the Denver metal scene worthwhile.
Loved the entire line up, FFAK was heavy and will see again, venue was good as always
Great acustics and friendly staff!! Definitely recomend it!
