I Like To Thank All The Staff Especially Addy For Being So Kind. Me And My Lady Really Enjoyed Ourselves To The Fullest. The Actors And Actresses Did A Phenomenonal Job And Was On Point. The Special Effects Was Impressive. Good Job!

  • Beyond expectations

    by A. S. on 10/13/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Wow. Just saw it and the special effects are beyond amazing and the acting is a whole new level. So much great things to do there as well!! However it’s really loud. Great detail and choreography. Highly recommend

  • Magical Experience

by MsBlizrd on 4/8/20Lyric Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

This play was loaded with the kinds of special effects we have read about in the books and only thought were possible in the movies. Cast and story were super! Feel extremely lucky to have seen the last showings of this play before Broadway was shutdown for the Coronavirus. When it reopens, GO!

  • Cursed child was great

by Mimi on 3/17/20Lyric Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I took my son to see the play for his birthday. So grateful we got to see the last show before Broadway went dark. The storyline was fantastic and the play’s special effects were amazing as well. The actors were enjoyable and very entertaining. My son thought Scorpius was hilarious. The theatre seating was comfortable but not always easy to see over the heads of people sitting directly in front of us. Price was reasonable for where we were sitting. Would definitely go again for the right price for seats.

  • Absolutely fantastic!!!!

by Krystyna on 3/13/20Lyric Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

There aren't enough words to describe how great Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway is!!... It is absolutely amazing!!! From the story line, to the amazing acting, and the incredible special effects... definitely made this play 5 stars! I wish I could rate it higher! My fiance is obsessed with Harry Potter and he was so excited when I told him we were going to see this show! After seeing both parts he could not stop thanking me because he said it was so amazing! He said he could finally cross this off of his bucket list! This was our first Broadway show and I am so happy we got a chance to witness the greatness! I would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone! If you are a true Harry Potter fan then you definitely won't want to miss out on this amazing play!!!

  • Spectacular

    by M. B. on 3/11/20Lyric Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been patiently waiting to get a chance to see this show and it did not disappoint!! The magic is brilliantly done and the show keeps you on your toes! Definitely a must see!

  • Unimaginably worth it

by Meggie on 3/11/20Lyric Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I opted for the "next-to-cheapest" tickets but in hindsight would have gone up to the next price level without hesitation. If you're unsure about spending more, it's completely worth it to choose closer seats. The script was not life-changing for me (having read it in advance) so I wasn't expecting to be blown away. I was. This is one of those things you have to experience in person. Trust the reviews!! It's like watching the entire HP film franchise being crafted right in front of your eyes.

  • Simply spectacular

The effects of the play were amazing, acting was top notch, and it was a lovely whole day event

  • Great experience

    by M. F. on 3/10/20Lyric Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

As a Harry Potter fan it was a great show. However, if you are not familiar with the story up to this point you will miss a lot of the references. Also the experience is threatened by the theater’s goal of selling as much alcohol as possible. We unfortunately sat next to a very rude drunk who made it uncomfortable and awkward

  • 5 Stars & I know nothing about Harry Potter

by JeneenD on 3/10/20Lyric Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a first-rate show! The experience exceeded my expectations in every way – lighting, costumes, sets, acting, et al. At times, the magic was almost too much to believe. I bought the tickets as a gift for my daughter. Knowing nothing about Harry Potter myself, I was not sure how much I’d enjoy it. It was terrific and relatively easy to follow. For a frame of reference, it helps if you read an article beforehand but it’s not entirely necessary. We attended parts one and two on Saturday, March 7, 2020
