The High Roller Wheel at The LINQ offers an unparalleled view of Las Vegas and one of the most unique sights across the globe. Having opened in 2014, the 550-foot attraction is the largest operational observation wheel in the world. It’s only rivaled by Dubai’s 800-foot Ain Dubai, which has been closed since March 2022. Guests of all ages can take part in the experience, while adults 21 and over can explore Happy Half Hour options that include an open bar. The High Roller Wheel at The LINQ is located on the east side of The LINQ Promenade and steps away from the casino-resort’s other offerings such as Brooklyn Bowl and Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club.

The High Roller is about a 30-minute ride, but the full experience, including entering and exiting the wheel, takes closer to one hour.
One cabin on the High Roller Wheel can hold up to 40 people at once. There are 28 cabins on the High Roller Wheel, so the attraction's max capacity is 1120 passengers.
My husband and I did the high roller around 8 pm and really enjoyed it. There were only 6 in our capsule so we could walk around and take in all the views. I had originally wanted to go after dark to see everything lit up but I’m glad we didn’t. I think all we would have seen would have been lights. Earlier we got a good view of everything and lots of great pictures.
It was pretty cool to see most of the strip from so high up and really cool to see the sphere as a whole and from such a good angle. The high roller goes very slow, so even those who don't really do heights or roller coasters (aka my 2 friends who I forced to participate) didn't have much problem, as long as they were looking out and not down. We went right at sunset so we were able to see some of the fountain show at the Bellagio and the light show at the Eiffel Tower which was pretty sweet. This is definitely not a "thrill"ride. The pod fits 40 people but fortunately I went at a non-busy time and there was only about 8 of us so we were able to freely move around; I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much if I had to stay in one singular spot and not been able to move about and look at different angles of the city. At the time, there was no line or anything to get in and we walked right on (FYI the ride does not stop, but again moves very slowly, for when you get on/off, so those that are a little anxious you have to give them a bit of a shove). There was a lot to Vegas that I hadn't seen or noticed until I rode the high roller.
Was a great experience our party had the car all to themselves the only real complaint I had was the windows could have been cleaner the sunset pictures didn't really come out the way I hope because of the dirty windows. Must be a task to keep up with all of those windows. Staff super helpful no wait time and very clean inside. J
We paid for the Open Bar experience and it didn't disappoint. The barman was friendly and helpful, pointing out some of the buildings and giving information about things to do, as we went around. It's a great activity to do whilst in Vegas We purchased the anytime tickets so that we could see the strip at night. Would recommend.
My friends and I got lucky and were the only group inside globe. The group in front of us decided to get off because they didnt think they were going to get the sunset in time. They missed out!! The sunset was BEAUTIFUL, the VIEW was spectacular, and we had THE BEST Bartender, Mike!! I had done the high roller in the past and the bartender was not very nice. Mike made the whole experience soooo much more fun and interactive! My friends I was with had never experienced the High Roller because they're not huge fans of heights, but they had a blast and their fear of heights was not even an issue. They want to go again next time in Vegas.
You can see miles around LV and surrounding areas. POD has the story of LV going up to the top, on the way down it’s just adverts for what to do.

We enjoyed the ride! The waiting time was not very long, we went around 8pm on a week day. It was well organised and the ride was pleasant. The staff were very helful.
Loved our ride on the High Roller. We went for the Happy Half Hour at sunset and it was extremely beautiful. Our bartender Lucas was great and the view was amazing!
Highly recommend to anyone going to Vegas. Every time I go, I get tickets and get the open bar ones. If you get a great bartender, your night will be made. Even if you don't get a good bartender, you get an open bar for 70ish dollars for 30 mins. One of the best values for drinks in Vegas. Go at night so you get amazing views of the strip lit up and of the Bellagio fountain
