Houston Texans Team History
Established in 1999 as Houston’s second NFL franchise (after the Oilers moved and became the Titans), the Houston Texans did not participate in their first official NFL season until 2002. In their first home opener, the Texans beat the Dallas Cowboys 19-10, becoming the first NFL expansion team to win their opening game since the Vikings beat the Bears in 1961.
The Texans secured their first big win as the AFC South champions in 2011 and clinched their first berth into the playoffs. They have since secured the title five more times, in 2012, 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019.

Seats were amazing, Texans Wild Card Win and it was awesome!
Had an awesome time and great energy. Whole Stadium was FIRE....
Sitting in the 500 section, the acoustics suck! I Couldn't understand anything the announcers were saying. The light stands are hanging down & block the jumbotrons so we couldn't see a lot of either one. Not a great experience!
A suggestion I have is to show to total distance between parking lots and the stadium so I can make a better decision on selecting parking.
I had never been to an event like this.....I found it wonderful.
I enjoyed the lively atmosphere, loud noise and fun during the game. Great experience overall!
I have been following the Lions and to date NRG stadium has been the best experience to date! Texans Fans welcomed me to tailgate with them (I made new friends), stadium was easy to navigate, lines were not extremely long for concessions or restrooms..& the self refill station was EVERYTHING!!!! The Texans chants & introductory video were epic during the game. A time was had! Thank you for an awesome experience. The traffic departing was the only issue.. it was jam packed. Pack your patience!! Goooo LIONS!!!!💙💙💙
Entrance into NRG Stadium went very smooth. The staff were very friendly. The night was capped off by a great Lions comeback victory. I really enjoyed my visit.
The Texans stadium was great. The seat had a great view. The stadium had great amenities
Great game! Explosive plays. Sorry that we lost diggs to injury- On to the next win
