Matt Rife has exploded as one of the fastest growing comedians through his viral content and remarkable engagement on TikTok, where he has amassed over 13 million followers, and more than 2 billion views globally. As one of the most buzzed about comedians in the business, Rife has been selling-out comedy clubs and theaters across the country and is gearing up to embark on his biggest tour to-date with Live Nation, the Matt Rife: ProbleMATTic World Tour, kicking off on July 20th.
Rife brings forth his refreshingly genuine presence along with elevated material that is quick witted and vulnerable. From a small town near Columbus Ohio, Matt started performing at the age of fifteen then moved out to Los Angeles two years later where he began his career in Hollywood.
In addition to stand-up, he made his television debut on MTV's Wild 'N Out as the youngest cast member in history for four seasons before moving on to other MTV properties, such as hosting the reboot of TRL and appearing on The Challenge. Other credits include Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Fresh Off The Boat, BET's North Of The 10, and NBC's comedy competition show Bring The Funny.
In 2021, Rife self-produced and distributed through YouTube his first one-hour comedy special, "Only Fans". This past April, the comedian bet on himself again and self-released his highly anticipated second stand-up special, "Matthew Steven Rife" on YouTube. The special was taped in Austin, TX and is dedicated to his biggest role model, his grandfather Steven who had recently passed. He'll be taping his third stand-up special this fall in Washington, DC.

This was my first comedy show and it did not disappoint! Matt was so funny as were the other guys that came on stage. Overall great experience and would definitely go to another one.
From the first moment Matt stepped on stage I was laughing. I can’t wait to see him again. Matt showed up in my hometown of Panama City, FL a few weeks before this concert and introduced Red Clay Strays at Gulf Coast Jam.
I love it when he interacts with the crowd and random stuff happens and he always finds a way to make it funny. Very talented comedian and I love the random dark humor he has sometimes. Highly entertaining show to be honest!
Matt was amazing! It was my first ever comedy show, and he made it very memorable! I liked that he wasn't afraid to speak what has been on most of America's minds these last 5+ years. It's definitely for the over 18 crowd as there are adult topics discussed or referenced. He did a wonderful job involving the audience and was constantly interacting with us. There was never a dull moment. If I could go back and experience that show over and over again, I would! I'd love to see him again in the future! My only suggestion would be a suggestion for the venue - not for Matt (he had no control over this)! The floor seats are way too close together. When sitting in my chair properly, both of my arms were in full contact with both of my neighbors' arms - who were both complete strangers to me! Add in the Alabama heat and resulting sweat, and it made for a very uncomfortable, awkward position for all of us. I'm also not a big person - I'm a 5'3"female weighing less than 140 pounds. The venue really needs to reconsider the seating arrangement on the floor.
Best comedian I've seen in the state!!!! I can safely say I'll definitely go see him again!!!
The show was amazing!!!! The venue was perfect!!!! Hands down would recommend both to anyone.
From the opening acts to Matt Rife, I was rolling in my seat with laughter. Exactly what I needed and much better than I had anticipated. Ready to go again! Drove from Ga to Alabama to see him. Well worth the drive.
We had an amazing time! We really enjoyed Matt Rife!!! Coca Cola amphitheater was nice.
This is the second time I have seen Matt Rife live, and it did not disappoint! The map of where we would be sitting when I originally bought the tickets was a little misleading as I thought it would be a little closer to the stage, but we were able to see everything due to the big screen so not a big deal. Speaking of tickets, I LOVED the fact that I could pay a little bit over time because I don't normally spend that kind of money all at once for something like this. If I didn't have that option, I probably wouldn't have purchased them in the first place, so that was great! We did have a little issue with parking, but that was an issue with the venue, and since this was the inaugural show, there's bound to be some problems that need to be worked out for future events.
