  • Mike in town

by Rodz on 10/29/22Tally Ho Theater - LeesburgRating: 5 out of 5

MSG was great as usual and Michael is a fantastic guitar player, one of the all time best. Venue was to small for his crowd followers and made it hard to get good views of artists. Temperature in the venue was to warm with a packed house. Will go back and get VIP seating area next time. Overall it was a good show and our group of four had a great time.

  • As Good as Ever

by Carl P on 10/29/22Tally Ho Theater - LeesburgRating: 5 out of 5

The Michael Schenker Group put on a terrific show at Tally Ho Theater, sounding as good, if not better, than when I first became a fan 40 years ago. Even after performing thousands of concerts over the past five decades, he and his band still sound great and show a lot of enthusiasm, really respecting their fans. Opening band Images of Eden wasn’t my cup of tea but Eric Martin was a pleasant surprise. Venue was well-run, easy to find, and easy to park at. All in all, a great night for the money.

It was an excellent show. Michael proved to me he is one of the best guitarists.

What a night!!!!! Images of Eden opened the show, really kicked ass, unreal! Then the Mr. Big singer’s band was pretty good. But Michael Schenker, WOW!!!!! One of my guitar heroes DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!!! Unbelievable!

  • A show for any instrumentalist, particularly guitarists

    by matlab.samurai on 10/25/22The Cabot - BeverlyRating: 5 out of 5

Great venue, perfect for a Friday night showcase of great virtuosity and creative talent. Schenker is at his best, and the venue is relaxed. Would go again. The sound engineer for the venue could have tweaked the bass cuts a little better, the kick drums were muddy and overpowering; otherwise great sound and show.

  • Michael Schenker lived up to his status as a legend!

by Paul Narducci on 10/24/22The Cabot - BeverlyRating: 5 out of 5

At 67 years old, Michael played with the same precision and energy he had in his youth!! He's an incredible guitarist who obviously keeps playing continuously because he didn't fall short on his reputation as a guitar God in any way!!

    by R. S. on 5/10/19The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Michael Schenker is an incredibly talented guitarist with a melodic neo-classical style all his own. Touring with 4 lead singers is a real treat for the audience. A must see tour!

  • Michael Schenker Fest

by Blanche on 5/8/19Kalamazoo State Theatre - KalamazooRating: 5 out of 5

Best rock concert I've seen in years. Michael Schenker kills it on his flying-V, just phenomenal! Loved seeing and hearing all the original singers from MSG over the years on the stage together, made it a real fun rocking evening of over 2 1/2 hours of playing 31 songs!

  • Concert was excellent

  • Great show!

    by J. on 5/5/19Kalamazoo State Theatre - KalamazooRating: 5 out of 5

Show started on time and the band played to the crowd. The show lasted just over two hours with minimal water breaks. Great show and the State Theatre is a great place to see a performance. You can get up close to the stage and the Schenker group played up close to the fans and were awesome. You can tell they enjoy playing and are very talented. Would definitely go to see them again. Think the promoter could have done a better job of promoting the event- found out day of the show that they were coming to town. Lucky for us great seats were still available. Had a great time!!

  • Amazing show

by scooter1717 on 4/3/18City National Civic - San JoseRating: 5 out of 5

I have been a fan for 40 years I had never seen Michael play before. I've always thought he was awesome but he exceeded my expectations tenfold. Unbelievably great show. Totally blown away. A definite brain melter. As well as playing lead guitar for 40 years, I've seen 100's of rock shows this has to be in the top three! Rock on Michael.

  • Good show

by GertyK on 4/2/18Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

Nice small venue! Closer to the band, different feel from the stadium or arena show but really nice in general. MSG and Schenker still rocks, great guitar riffs and solos.

  • I waited 35 years to see MSG

by christkg on 3/30/18City National Civic - San JoseRating: 5 out of 5

I bought the MSG album in 1982 and was hooked. I can't believe I got to see Michael with Gary Barden after all these years. And Graham Bonnet. And Robin McCauley. The show was amazing and a dream come true for me. All 4 singers rotated and sung back up on select songs for each other. It was an incredible show for the deep MSG fans. The venue is large and very nice. We sat in the balcony. It was weird for me to sit during a show. At the same time, it was easier on my injured back.

A check for the bucket list. A++ and in a word, AWESOME! His technique and fret work along with that incredible tone he has was spot on. It was an honor to witness such skill and greatness with a guitar.

  • Schenker is God

by Hyperterex on 3/28/18City National Civic - San JoseRating: 5 out of 5

Hands down the best Michael Schenker show I’ve ever seen. 2 hours and 45 minute set, 30 songs. Playing the best he as ever played.

  • The Magic Man does it again

by CatWomanDiana on 3/28/18City National Civic - San JoseRating: 5 out of 5

3 hours of non-stop guitar wizardry spanning almost 50 years of an incredible music carrer. Starting with numbers from the original MSG, with Gary Barden, continuing to version 2 with Graham Bonnet, to the MSG with Robin McCauley, to the Temple of Rock with Doogie White - interspersed with numbers from the newest album just released in March 2018, then back almost 40 years to a number from Lovedrive (Scorpions), and ending with an amazing version of the original appearance of the Blonde Bomber including what must have been a 20 minute solo in Rock Bottom. Michael was on stage the whole time, playing the whole time - only stopping when he changed guitars. I hope to see him many more times.
