Mohammed "Mo" Amer is a celebrated Palestinian-American stand up comedian and award-winning writer. Currently starring in the acclaimed Netflix series MO, a semi-autobiographical series. MO was 'certified fresh' by Rotten Tomatoes with a rare 100% from critics and was named one of the best shows in 2022 from The New York Times and NY Magazine. The series also garnered Amer a Gotham Award, 2023 Peabody Award, AFI Honors and a Television Academy Honor. The highly anticipated season 2 of MO is due to be released January 30th, 2025 on Netflix.
Mo also co-starred in the Hulu show Ramy, where he plays Ramy's cousin, who owns and operates a diner, where many of the show's characters congregate. Alongside his TV success, Amer co-starred with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in the DC blockbuster Black Adam, bringing humor to the DC comic. Known for his global reach, Amer has toured in over 40 countries, and his stand-up specials, Mo Amer: The Vagabond and Mo Amer: Mohammed in Texas, are both available on Netflix.
Audiences can look forward to Amer's show covering life, family, and his journey as a new dad in today's political climate, all delivered with his signature humor and perspective just like he does on his eponymous show, "Mo".
Great set, had me in stitches from the opening acts to closing. Best laughs all month, one of the greatest alive. Will never miss Mo when he’s in town.
The show was **hilarious** from start to finish, with **great topics** that tackled ongoing issues in such a witty way. The **surprise guests** were a fantastic addition, keeping the audience on their toes. The **preceding comedians** were just as funny, setting the perfect tone for a **fun vibe** that lasted all night!

Mo was amazing, balanced reality and comedy so well, every part of the show was funny.
Saw Mo at Town Hall in NYC last night and loved the show. A real master of comedy. And he had Hasan Minaj and Jon Stewart opening for him among others. GREAT show!!!
The show was funny, moving and profound. Mo Amer is an astute story teller and fantastic impressionist. I laughed and cried. His stories are universal, full of love, great humor and pain. I am a big fan of his Netflix series and have told everyone in my life to watch it. Also his two stand up specials.
I cannot rave enough , Mo Is the best , family friendly, not a dull moment , professional delivery , well played and very very funny , good for any background or ethnicity, honest feelings that hit every note
This event was very organized from beginning to end. Everyone was welcoming, and made it easy to find your seat. Although this event was a no phone event, I wish I had my phone to take pictures. All in all, I understood why. In any event., the show started a little late, which gave me time to settle in. There were three acts and Mo being the third. All three acts were great. I liked that the show was held on a Wednesday. It wasn’t too crowded and I was able to enjoy the show comfortably. Unfortunately, we live in a time where things are a bit uptight and humans have no respect for humans, religion, and more. I thought MO and his team set a positive tone and showed immense support for what’s happening today. The ticket price was reasonable. I didn’t feel like I had to take out a loan to purchase tickets. The show received four Stars. I hope Mo comes back to Medford.
This was such a great show! He was really funny and kept the flow going. Highly recommend checking it out.
