About

When Sarah Millican was a bairn, she wouldn't say boo to a goose. Quiet at school, not many friends, no boobs til she was 16. Now? NOW she is loud, with good friends, a cracking rack and goose booing all over the shop. In Late Bloomer, Sarah's brand-new stand-up show, she explores how one became the other. Plus, lots of stuff about dinners and lady gardens.

Sarah is one the UK's and, in recent years, the world's most well-loved touring comedians. A hard-working live performer Sarah has toured with six live shows since 2010, which in total, have been seen by over 1.3 million people.

Away from her live work Sarah is known for hosting three series of her critically acclaimed BBC2 series The Sarah Millican Television Programme, for which she received two BAFTA nominations.

Sarah is a Sunday Times bestselling author with her debut book, How To Be Champion, and in 2016 founded the Standard Issue podcast - a smart, funny magazine-style show made for women by women.

Sarah was as funny as ever I think the venue was to big or wrong building it lost the coziness and atmosphere but she was great

  • Fantastic way to spend a night

I had only seen Sarah onscreen previously, so this was my first time seeing her live. She did not disappoint. Her set was so long, there was an intermission! You definitely get your money's worth. There was a male heckler (who obviously was uncomfortable with her material) who she offered to let them interact if they were trying to be funny, but gave them permission to leave if they are not having a good time. Class act interaction with the heckler. I laughed so hard throughout her set and will keep an eye out for next time she comes through town.

I love watching Sarah Millican on Youtube etc. She's brilliant and I was very excited to see her live show. The theatre was sold out and had lots of energy. There were many funny bits, but a few problems for me. We normally buy balcony tickets for a better view of the stage, but the microphone was placed too close to the front, so I could barely see Sarah and her opening act. 5-6 feet back would have been so much better. I missed some jokes because I couldn't see her. The speed at which she speaks seemed to get faster and harder to process. And the gross-out factor stopped being funny. But when she hits, she's great. If she comes back, I'd like to see some different material.

  • Vancouver-Funniest Gal in Comedy

To actually have a woman who speaks to an audience of women about our lives, experiences and sex in the most hilarious fashion is something each of us should experience. Do not hesitate to attend if she comes into your area for a show. I did a last minute ticket purchase as I was a solo person and had one of the greatest seats. I was up in row 12 center of the theater and was very thankful to have that seat. Thank you so much for an amazing night at the Orpheum in Vancouver, BC, Canada!

  • Laughed so hard!

Sarah is a stellar performer and so quick and funny. We laughed so hard my sides are sore! I would make plans to see her again if she came back to the area.

  • An amazing and truly funny night!

Sarah hits the nail on the head with respect to issues women face. Though only a few men attended, they were laughing equally hard. I'd go and see her again without question.
