The Wild Kratts Live! on Tour

What's the best way to get kids to learn about things like ecology and the animal kingdom and keep them entertained at the same time? Turn them on to The Wild Kratts. Ever since the show made its debut back in 2011, it's used exciting animal adventure tales and colorful animation to tell stories that clue kids in to valuable lessons about the natural world.

The stars of the show (at least the human ones) are actually its creators. Real-life brothers Chris and Martin Kratt write and direct the show that they brought into being, but they also appear as animated characters, providing their own voices. In each episode, the Kratts rub shoulders (and tentacles and paws and hooves) with another bunch of animals in a different adventure, from sperm whales and giant squids to porcupines and hippos.

In addition to knowing how to capture kids' imaginations, the brothers really understand their subject — Martin holds a degree in zoology, and Chris has worked as a professional ecologist. They also understand how to harness that combination of educational power and creativity that has made The Wild Kratts an international phenomenon and turn it into a thrilling live-action show.

With The Wild Kratts Live, Chris and Martin connect to their fans in a completely different way, as they bring their adventures to life. Not only do the men behind the Emmy-nominated program appear onstage in front of the kids who've grown up loving the Kratts, those kids also get a chance to interact with them when the brothers pose questions to the audience.

No Wild Kratts event would be complete without the animals. In keeping with the show's philosophy, the Kratts elected to leave actual creatures of the wild unhampered, opting instead to have actors play a host of larger-than-life animals onstage. Between the Kratts, the creatures, and the production, fans of the series will have the time of their lives.

  • Amazing show!

My kids (ages 4 and 8) are obsessed with Wild Kratts! I tried to get VIP tickets for them to meet Chris and Martin but they sold out fast. I grew up watching Zoboomafoo and I’m so glad the brothers are still making content. My kids absolutely loved the show and I did as well. They loved the Zak-bots. I will say in the beginning the speakers were very loud and my 4 year old said they hurt his ears. Eventually the volume was lowered and he enjoyed the rest of the show.

  • Kids were so excited!

Considering my 9 year old was so excited that he cried when Chris and Martin came on stage, I'd say they were very excited to be there. I laughed out loud several times at the costumes and the only thing that would have made the experience any better was if I could have found a way to get him to meet Chris and Martin. He wants to be a zoologist because of these guys and they're wonderful role models for young children.

  • Charming!

We had such a great experience! Our autistic son LOVES Wild Kratts. Seeing Chris & Martin in person on stage was awesome! The only drawback was the speakers & monitors they had lined up along the front of the stage blocked our view at times. One of the best parts was the way they handled merch sales. Ordering online & picking up when ready was so convenient!

  • So much fun!

Wild Kratts 2.0 was a huge hit. First show we've ever been to but WOW! So much fun, very entertaining, educational, funny and super engaging. Every kid there, including mine was enamored by Chris and Martin! Looking forward to a 3.0!

  • We LOVED this show!

It was my 3 year olds first ever live show and it was such a great experience. She LOVED everything about this show. The fact that the Kratt Brothers miniaturized themselves was so fun. She loved shouting along with the action and that the Brothers had creature power suits to turn into the creatures. I highly recommend this show.

  • Great Energy!

by Whitmore on 4/6/25E.J. Thomas Hall - The University of Akron - AkronRating: 5 out of 5

Our 5 year old has watched their shows since he was 2. We were all engaged the entire time. The theater was sold out with kids of all ages very excited. A great family friendly experience. Parents were smiling as much as the kids. My only suggestion is to ditch the intermission at 1h15 min, there is a 20 min intermission and then about another 20 of show. We did the 6:30 show and our son was pretty tired by intermission and just sat and waited for the rest. All in all a great experience and good memories.

  • Enjoyable show

The Wild Kratt brothers work really hard to give the kids a very enjoyable show. Interactive and similar to a journey like the tv show. Suggest eliminating the intermission and shortening the show by 10-15 minutes. Positive energy and no agenda other than teaching about animals with a comedic take appropriate for children.

  • Great!!

The kids loved it. Classic Wild Kratts humor mixed with learning about animals.

  • Awesome

by Daddy on 4/5/25Shea's Performing Arts Center - BuffaloRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great show. My daughter loved it. There's some humor, there's some of the animation from the show, there's some photos/videos of animals (no live animals), there's costumes, kids get to cheer if the kratts ask what their catchphrases are, so there's some crowd interaction as well. My only complaint, which was out of the hands of the kratts, is that sometimes the cheers got really loud... so if your child is sensitive to loud noises, you may want to bring those noise cancelling headphones or earplugs just in case.
