Toronto Raptors History
The Toronto Raptors were founded in 1995 as part of the NBA's expansion into Canada. The Raptors have been the only NBA team based in Canada since the 2001–02 season. After acquiring eight-time All-Star Vince Carter in 1998, the Raptors set league-wide attendance records and made the playoffs from 2000 to 2002. Led by Carter, the Raptors earned their first playoff series win in 2001 and advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals.
The Raptors didn't return to the playoffs until the 2006–07 season, when they won the Atlantic Division title. After Masai Ujiri joined as the team's General Manager in 2013, the Raptors became a consistent playoff team, winning five division titles and having their most successful season in 2018. The following year, during the 2019 playoffs, the Raptors earned their first Eastern Conference title and went on to win their first NBA championship, defeating the Warriors in 6 games.

Although she came out late, it was a great show and an amazing surprise to have the guest she brought with her. It was a nice lengthy show and the ticket price was perfect.
Loved every second of it. Too bad most of the starters didn’t play from either team.
My first NBA game in Canada and it was great. Scotiabank Arena is incredibly welcoming and clean. I've been to countless sports events in the states this was a totally different experience.
I celebrated my 30-year old son's birthday with him on March 10th - The Raptors vs. The Washington Wizards. This was our first game and first time visiting the Scotiabank Arena. The Raptors won this game 119 to 104. 👍 There were alot of helpful staff around to assist us. We also got lanyards for first timers. The game and entertainment was thrilling and exciting from beginning to end. We went to pizza pizza for 4 slices and beverages and paid far too much money. When we were leaving, to our delight and surprise, the workers were handing out axe deodorant at the exits. All in all, it was a great evening. We ended up taking a taxi back to our hotel.
Toronto Raptors Game Review Attended a Raptors game recently and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the staff were very helpful and professional, making entry and navigation through the arena smooth. However, the overall experience was disappointing. Our seats, which were already quite expensive for being high up in the stadium, were taken by others, making it frustrating to settle in. Rather than dealing with the hassle, we decided to leave early. Additionally, the surrounding area could use some serious upkeep—it was surprisingly dirty, which took away from the excitement of the event. To top it off, the price of food inside was outrageous, making it tough to justify the overall cost of the night. While the game itself was exciting, the experience left a lot to be desired for the price paid.
The concessions and rockets are way too expensive making the games out of reach for the average person.
It was a fun time for the family. Lots of giveaways.
Loved every moment of Fan Fest event. Coordinated beautifully with events for all ages. Loved every minute of it and will return every year.
Very short, our gate 6 was closed when we arrived had to find our way to gate 1 By the time we got in and delt with the baby stuff other people had taken our seats We were very confused by what 119M meant. Family went for food and came back they maybe saw the last 30 mins they hadn't even finished the drinks and food and were asked to leave
