  • Too few fan interaction and participation

by Mimi on 5/29/24Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 3 out of 5

I think more contestants should have had an opportunity at the wheel. Also more interaction with the crowd. The MC did not come halfway up each aisle for fan involvement. Oh commentary gifts for all would have nice!

  • Wheel Of Fortune In Cincinnati, Ohio

by Coco on 5/29/24Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 3 out of 5

I bought the tickets in January 2024 for the show that they just had in Cincinnati, Ohio in May 2024. When my mother and I arrived to the location unfortunately many of the streets where blocked off due to the Taste Of Cincinnati that was happening that weekend. So that meant that I had to park really far away from the building. My mother has really bad knees and she's in her 70's but she really wanted to see the show in person. She was in soo... much pain just getting to the building. I felt so bad but it was nothing that I could do about it at the time because I didn't know that the streets would be like that. Then when we got in the building I bought front row tickets, the very first row to make sure that no one would be blocking my mother's view. Unfortunately to my surprise the stage and the speakers were blocking her view. I didn't know that it would be this way because I've never had front row seats to any performance in my life. On top of that the bathroom was also very far away for her to get to. My point is that I think that since we all know that the Wheel Of Fortune show is such a popular game show that many elderly people love, it should have really been taken into account all of these factors for people to know in advance before we bought our tickets for our mother's for "Mother's Day"!!!

  • Hard to rate

by Mike on 5/29/24Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Event Center - Niagara FallsRating: 4 out of 5

As the title says, the experience is hard to rate. On surface level, the idea of a life Wheel of Fortune was exciting. My wife and I looked forward to it very much. We got to the casino, took some pictures, the whole shebang. The stage was amazing, the hosts and emcees were awesome, and the lighting was spot on. The contestants, however, lowered the experience. I'm not having sour grapes about not being picked or anything. The people they chose were the blandest, dullest people ever. The person who went to final Wheel was even told by the host to hurry up and pick a letter so people could leave. Besides the boring as hell contestants, I would do this again.

The Prizes were an absolute joke !!!! We got all excited. For nothing

  • Low budget show

by Lslisa_99 on 5/28/24Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Event Center - Niagara FallsRating: 2 out of 5

It was hard to see. The host was not very interactive. The prizes were very small. It would have been nice to see more winners.

  • DISSAPOINTED

by DONNA on 5/28/24Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Event Center - Niagara FallsRating: 2 out of 5

The expierence was fun, however the hype was mis-leading. I had no expectations of being called as a contestent so my enjoyment was the live show. I felt badly for the contestants that it was all point related and if you won a round you only received points which ment nothing unless you had the most after 3 rounds. Any points accumulated did not count for anything. Only the winner received a monatary price of $200.00. The contestants in the audience were treated to a pair of socks, and a token wheel of fortune tag of some sort. The best prize for the night was a limited edition wheel umbrella. Even the big jackpot round did not have $10,000.00 on it like advertized. Highest was $5,000.00 cash. Other prizes weren't even disclosed. There was a trip available if you were lucky enough to guess the puzzle. The hosts and crew were amazing. We paid dearly for the VIP ticket. Sat in the front row, pretty much alone and after the show our $300.00/(each) tickets got us a tote bag, small journal and comemorative ticket/tag. We got to go on stage and have our photo taken spinning the wheel and standing in front of the letter board. Not with the hosts like advertized either. I think the show in general was dissapointing. I believe they could have given many more prizes to the contestents and better prizes at that. Even the venu could have kicked in some prizes. I would not go again and would not reccomend it to anyone.

  • entertaining

The show was hilarious from the very beginning. The audience got to participate in the games as well. I would definitely go again.

  • Loved it

I brought my sister for her birthday. We did not get called to go on stage but we did get picked from the audience and won an umbrella. I honestly laughed the whole time. Great show

  • Fun but we expected a little more

by Dave H on 5/27/24Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Event Center - Niagara FallsRating: 3 out of 5

3.5 stars. It was fun & entertaining, but it seemed like they did a lot to waste time. They played 2 games of W.O.F. with no Prize Puzzle round. The winners each game got $200 (I believe) The winners get to play again to go to the Bonus Round, but they drew a random person from the crowd to fill the 3rd spot instead of playing a 3rd game. The winner of that game gets to go to the Prize Puzzle round. I feel like we got jipped out of a 3rd game? Granted, the MC made his way through the crowd before & between the games giving a few people the chance to solve a puzzle for a WOF pin or a couple umbrellas. But the random person that they selected to play for a chance at the prize puzzle was called that morning to use the ticket of someone that was ill and couldn't attend. Hard to root for 1 of 3 that didn't win to get there, but wasn't even supposed to be at the show to begin with. But yes it was still fun!

  • Wonderful fun entertainment

It was fun and entertaining at best. The venue was extremely cold.

  • Die Hard Fan

by Kell on 5/26/24Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5

It was good show. People I sat next to were fun and engaging and we were all playing along. I wish there had been more audience names drawn on computer screen for more small prizes like T shirt, Umbrella, Gift Cards, etc. Other than that, I’ll be back next year for sure :)

  • wheel of few chump prizes

by Meli on 5/26/24Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 3 out of 5

They only called 9 people?!?! What the... I think they should have called names for gift cards while they were prepping the next group. Out of all the people in attendance, they only called 9 names?!?! Why didn't they have some people play pop ups instead of 3 people playing COMPLETE GAMES?!?! There were toooooooo many people there to only call 9 people to play. What a rip off. I will tell people not to waste their money on a one in a million chance of being called down.

  • Wheel of fortune live

by Amy on 5/26/24Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

We had a blast! The only thing is we paid for VIP so we could get the free merch and apparently it got held up somewhere so we were told we would receive an email and then it would be mailed to the home. So far no email but I’m still hopeful.

  • Not good enough

    by Mommas 3 on 5/25/24Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 3 out of 5

Was a cheesy version of real show. Just was too loud and over the top. He had a good sense of humor but was too much. He interacted well with the audience. Chuck seemed disinterested in being there. Had an attitude of he had some place better to be.

  • Not worth the pricey ticket upgrade

by Wheel Fan on 5/25/24Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 2 out of 5

Only seven people got to go on stage out of the whole theater. In my opinion they should not let the chosen three play so many rounds, instead giving more audience members a chance to be called up there. It was greatly disappointing especially because the first three contestants were duds who looked like they weren't even excited about being there. It would be nice if they would prequalify you as a fan who knows how to solve the puzzles before you get drawn to go on stage. Bob Goen and the announcer were bright spots but the pain of sitting through the games without a chance to win anything was very disappointing. My husband had purchased an upgraded ticket for me, and it was definitely not worth it.

  • Meh, It Was Fun

by Wheel Watcher 513 on 5/25/24Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5

It was fun, but for the price of the Ultimate Package I expected my gift bags to be on site and professional quality photos to be used not my cell phone. Good experience but probably won’t do it on the local level again.

  • WOF in Cincinnati, OH

by Kimber on 5/25/24Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5

I was so glad to be able to attend the Wheel of Fortune Live show in Cincinnati, OH. It was a lot of fun, the host and hostes were great! A lot of good energy and excitement in the Taft Theater. I solved almost all of the puzzles while sitting at my seat. I wish my name was randomly chosen so I could have gone onto the stage and spun the Wheel and won some prizes, that would have been amazing 😊.

  • A bit boring

by Rhonda707 on 5/20/24Club Regent Event Centre - WinnipegRating: 2 out of 5

The Wheel of Fortune was not what I expected. I learned the day of the event that anyone, even without a ticket, could register to participate in the show. We went to the event at 6 pm because registration started then, according to the ticket. So that was 2 hours before the show started. We found out you could scan your to ticket so we did not need to show up so early. The prizes at the show were not impressive. We also found out the casino gave out a number of free tickets. Overall did not feel the show was worth what we paid for the tickets.
