Had the best time at Dr Phil last Sunday in Indianapolis. His show is part improv, part standup and completely hilarious.

  • WE STRUCK COMEDY GOLD

by Austin Riffe on 5/8/25Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

If you ever get the chance to see Adam Ray as Dr. Phil live—run, don’t walk. This comedy show was an absolutely electric mix of improv, music, and pure chaos in the best way possible. Adam Ray’s transformation into Dr. Phil was hilarious from the moment he hit the stage. What made it next-level though was how incredibly engaging he was with the audience. He didn’t just stay on stage—he walked around the floor multiple times, riffing off the crowd, creating bits on the fly, and pulling people into the show. It made the whole experience feel intimate and unpredictable, like we were part of something totally one-of-a-kind. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better—Zac Brown made a surprise appearance. Yes, that Zac Brown. He didn’t just perform some killer live music; he actually did standup comedy too—and he crushed it. It was wild to see such a big-name artist jump into the comedy mix with such ease. The night ended with a bang when one guy from the audience became an unofficial cast member. He was on stage dancing with Dr. Phil and the rest of the comedians like it was completely normal—and somehow, it was. It was the kind of spontaneous, unforgettable moment that made you look around and go, “Did that really just happen?” Bottom line: This wasn’t just a comedy show. It was an experience. One of those rare nights where anything could (and did) happen. Truly a “you had to be there” kind of vibe—and I’m so glad I was.

  • Adam Ray is Great, but…

by Comedyshowguy on 4/2/25Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

Adam Ray is incredible. I wish his guests had prepared better though…it was clear that the guest comedians and musicians didn’t rehearse with Adam prior to the show. The guests that did have comedic or entertainment experience were great additions to the show. The ones that were essentially amateurs weren’t fun to watch. A lot of crowd work too with obviously little planning beforehand.

  • Absolutely Killer Show!

Seeing Adam Ray as Dr. Phil was the best! I have been watching these shows online and was so stoked that he brought the show to ATL. Adam Ray is a true host and was able to hold his own and move the show along. Thank you for bringing the energy and joy to ATL, Adam!
