The 107.5 WBLS R&B Revue was great! Performances were awesome! Even the DJ and party before the show was great as well! Food was good also. Southern Fried Chicken and Waffles! Yum!
What a great show!! From the WBLS DJ playing old school music to the actual performers. Hi Five was excellent. Jeff Redd knows how to party. Glenn Jones can still blow. Force MD's still got it. And Christopher Williams!! What can I say?? He sounds better now than way back when!! I hear there's gonna be an all female R&B revue and I can't wait.
Every performance was memorable from surprise guests, Hi Five to Jeff Redd, Force MD's, Glen Jones and Christopher Williams. Their voices were rich and the memories flowing. The baby boomers are blessed to relive the music we loved in our youth/young adult years.
........Chris is one of my favorite singers of all time!!!! No doubt!! To hear him do ANY of Teddy Pendagrass's material is a blessing. The only draw back...to many opening acts.His performance,off the chain,band was right there with him every step of the way. But,DAMN!!!!...5 or 6 opening acts is just ridiculous,particularly if after all of them are finally done,the headliner only does five songs. One being a Teddy song ,so,actually he did 4 of his own stuff and none from his forth coming album. Other than that,CW's show was FANTASTIC!!!!! Go see him when/whereever he is!!!!!!
Each time I see Christopher Williams he sounds superb. I try to go to each and every show. I've gone to Delaware to see him perform in a play, watch his performance at LQ etc. I am a true fan and I love his music. The show at BB Kings was excellent his voice gets better with age (LOL). He sounds exactly like the CD and even better. I waited a long time for him to come on the stage but it was worth the wait for sure. I enjoyed myself, thanks CW for a excellent show.
Christopher Williams' show was amazing! The place was packed and he was perfect! His voice is impeccable. I'd see him again.

I enjoyed Force Md's, Meli'sa Morgan and Jeff Redd, but Christopher Williams was the one I truly came to see. He did a phenomenal job. I enjoyed his performance and I hope he returns. I LOVE NYC BB Kings.
