About

Odd Future’s Earl Sweatshirt is one of sharpest, tightest and most provocative emerging rappers in the game. After two years in exile, he’s back with an acclaimed album, Doris, a string of hot tracks, and a killer live tour. The buzz at an Earl Sweatshirt concert is crazy, with most of the crowd just excited to have him back -- and doesn't disappoint. He’s got a laid-back, matter-of-fact delivery in which he seems totally at ease on stage while he runs through all the greatest hits across his entire music catalog. Oh, and any Earl Sweatshirt concert ticket could mean a whole lot more, because Odd Future members like Tyler, The Creator, Frank Ocean and Mac Miller have been known to make appearances on his tour, spending equal time on stage supporting their friend and ripping on him in that now-classic nasty Odd Future style.

It’s great to see him back, too. Back in the late 2000s, Earl Sweatshirt and the other group members caught the world’s attention with their incendiary lyrics and deft wordplay. Sweatshirt’s 2010 mixtape, Earl, cemented him as the leader of the pack with jaw-dropping songs like the titular track. However, just as the rest of the group was blowing up, Sweatshirt fell off the face of the earth, finally turning up in a Samoan boarding school for troubled teens, where he stayed until 2012. Now he's back, with his album Doris -- with songs like “Hive” and “Burgundy,” proving that he’s sharper than ever. He’s also showing his more mature, introspective side on “Chum” and other thoughtful tracks. Sweatshirt is still only 19 years old, but he's a force that can’t be stopped.

  • Earl and friends

by frio on 6/9/24The Masquerade - Heaven - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Got to meet Al as well as Earl with the meet and greet and the experience was worth the extra money. Show was not lacking either with MIKE opening. he did a good 45 min set and poured his all into it. Earl did his thing like always and Al even did Hold You Down to close it out. My favorite Earl show yet.

  • Too many openers.

by KP on 11/26/23The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver SpringRating: 3 out of 5

Too many Artist that weren't on the bill were performing. If it was multiple acts going to be on there. Have a clear set list of who's going to be performing instead of just promoting it as the two main acts cause that who we came to see. Unfair for those who traveled and spent money. My friend left early that I bought a ticket for due to weirdos that kept being rude in the crowd. But security was on point that night. Heard others that left the same time same time as my friend say the same thing and were disappointed about the same reasons. Other than that, I had a good time and great to see the main acts rock.

  • Earl and Al show

by Benebukz on 11/23/23The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver SpringRating: 5 out of 5

The show was great the only downside was I paid for the meet and greet experience never got an email from 237 global letting me know I had to be there by 5:45 to participate but there was a lady there that was nice enough to still let me and my daughter get the merch that came with the package but I’m in the process of trying to get some type of compensation for paying 500$ for standing room tickets

  • Earl is da goat

    by Philly Jones’s on 8/26/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Read the title fool. Earl is the goat. Saw him at house of blues in Chicago on the Doris 10 year anniversary show.

  • House of blues

    by E. R. on 8/26/23Rating: 1 out of 5

Not a good concert weak stage performance stood around for 20 minutes doing nothing. He played guild feat Mac Miller but he fully skipped over Mac millers verse didn’t pay any homage to him. He didn’t bring out any guests using the excuse oh it was last minute I didn’t have time but he had time to reunite all of OF for the LA concert Ight bro waste of my time, gas, money, and energy.

  • Less than Expected at House of Blues

    by D. D. on 8/23/23Rating: 3 out of 5

Earl gave such an uninspired performance that it makes me question why he even bothered coming to Chicago. His DJ started playing at 730 and he came out around 7:40 and rapped until about 8:10. For the next 20 minutes, the DJ just played a random assortment of hip hop songs and Earl just kind of stood there. His encore was his verse in New Faces after all of this. It was a great concert for the brief time he performed, but it was pretty clear that he didn’t want to be there.

  • Awesome Experience !

Went to see Earl perform in D.C this past weekend (02/19/2022), and had a blast! I enjoyed the Alchemist and Boldy opener, and then Earl killed his set. I left after Earl’s set. Very good experience overall.
