Electric Callboy on Tour

Electric Callboy, formerly known as Eskimo Callboy, is a German metalcore/electronicore group specializing in comedy rock. Their first EP was released in 2010 via EMP (and later re-released via Redfield Records), and the group opened for acts such as Bakkushan, Callejon, Ohrbooten, We Butter the Bread with Butter, and Neaera.

Featuring current members Kevin Ratajczak, Daniel "Danskimo" Haniß, Pascal Schillo, Daniel Klossek, David Friedrich, and Nico Sallach, Electric Callboy has been releasing albums since 2012's debut Bury Me In Vegas, which the band followed up with the Geki Rock Tour. In fall 2013, the band won the Up And Coming award at the German Metal Hammer Awards.

In 2014, Electric Callboy released their sophomore album, We Are The Mess, produced by Kristian Kohlmannslehner and featuring guest appearances by BastiBasti of Callejon and former Hollywood Undead singer Deuce ("Jagger Swagger"). The band toured Japan in support of the album and later toured Europe with Iwrestledabearonce, Her Bright Skies and To the Rats and Wolves as openers.

The following year, Electric Callboy released their next album, Crystals, via Spinefarm, and in 2017, they shared another album, The Scene, via People Like You and Century Media. Since then, Electric Callboy released another two albums: 2017's Rehab and 2022's Tekkno, plus one EP: 2020's MMXX. Around the release of Rehab, the band embarked on their Rehab European Tour 2019.

In February 2020, the band announced via social media that their longtime singer Sebastian "Sushi" Biesler would be leaving the band. Nico Sallach stepped in and has been the singer for Electric Callboy in the years since.

In late 2021, Electric Callboy announced that they would be changing their name from Eskimo Callboy. Their first song under the new moniker was 2022's "Spaceman" featuring the rapper FiNCH. They also released the singles "We Got The Moves," "Pump It," and "F***boi" featuring the metalcore band Conquer Divide.

In December 2021, Electric Callboy announced via Twitter that they had submitted their single "Pump It" into the German national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, but they were ultimately not chosen in the final list of participants.

  • Concert so good I passed out

by ST on 5/29/24MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

This show was absolutely amazing- from the visuals to the crowd energy to the wig changes. Genuinely one of the best concerts I’ve ever been too, and it was so good I passed out from jumping too much (was fine after and security was super helpful in grabbing water and checking in). Could not recommend the experience any more strongly.

  • Better live than in the studio!

    by tho_she_be_but_litl on 5/28/24REBEL - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I had heard that Electric Callboy was a fantastic live band, but after seeing them in Silver Spring and Toronto, I can confirm that's an understatement. They are phenomenal. The production is stellar, especially considering that they aren't as big in the States as they are in Germany, and they are playing at smaller venues here that limit their show elements. The guys sound incredible (shout out to their crew for ensuring this!). But beyond that, their energy and crowd engagement is top tier. They keep you jumping every second during their songs, and they make you feel like you're great friends when talking in between. They are happy and funny and humble, and that energy is the most wonderfully contagious thing I've experienced in ages. Do yourself a favor and go see them!

Electric Callboy was one of the best concert experiences I’ve ever had! They are very funny/silly guys and have great energy and sounded phenomenal! I’ve never seen a crowd bounce as much as they did for this band.
