Was a blast. Teams both played extremely hard and kept everyone entertained to the last whistle.
We really enjoyed the Roughnecks game for our date night. The stadium was nice but it was stadium seating and hurt our butts. :) I enjoyed the different activities before the game as well.
The team, the seats, the parking, and the concessions are all horrible. $12 for a can of beer? I may go see the Roughnecks again if they change where they play. It is no wonder they have such small crowds at their games.
Worth it. Such a fun day for me and my family. Will do it again.
XFL was fun and exciting, this was bland, boring, and I saw more yellow flags thrown than points scored. Was so excited for the return, but will not be back
Good game, very little success on offense, 174 total yards. How can a challenged call for offsides be only the call stands? Either they were offsides or they were not offsides?
Personally, I enjoyed my experience at the inaugural Roughnecks UFL game. Other than the fact that we lost, everything went smoothly from when gates opened until post-game. There were just under 10k in the stands, and despite it being Easter, I still thought that number was a huge underperformance from the fans of a huge city like Houston who’s had the Roughnecks for a few seasons now. The fans at the game created a great environment when the Roughnecks made big plays, but majority of fans seemed unmotivated to get loud when we were on defense unless they were told by the PA announcer to make noise, which was only on third downs. That disappointed me, because after all, this is pro ball and it’s all about being loud and intimidating for the visiting team, and I personally enjoy games that have great atmospheres. Sure hope attendance numbers rise and fans get more engaged, because I want the UFL to succeed, and it can’t happen without those two ingredients. Tickets are cheap for a pro league, so that shouldn’t be an issue. Despite those downsides, I made sure I had fun and enjoyed my experience. I did my part in being loud and engaged, and I spent quite a bit of money. I’ll definitely be back for another game this season.
I received free tickets to the Roughnecks vs Renegades playoff game through work. In order to receive the tickets you had to download the XFL app. When I downloaded the app, I saw that the tickets to the championship game between the Renegades and Defenders were already available, and the playoff games hadn't been played yet. That disappointed ☹️ me because I was enjoying the XFL until then.
The application for the tickets works well had no issues.
