About

Josh Wolf is a stand-up comedian, writer, actor, and New York Times best-selling author who has been entertaining audiences both on stage and on screen for nearly three decades. Wolf's comedy roots trace back to Boston and Seattle, eventually leading him to open for the likes of industry pillars such as Larry the Cable Guy and Chelsea Handler. After years of touring, writing, and performing, Josh has established himself as one of the most respected comedians in the industry, continuing to headline sold-out theaters across North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. Wolf gained widespread acclaim as a comedian and panelist on the hit show Chelsea Lately and as a mainstay performer on After Lately. He has since created, written, produced, and hosted shows like The Josh Wolf Show and Josh Wolf's Wonderful World of Weird. As a podcaster, Josh co-hosts the hit podcast "Hey Maaan" alongside his son, Jacob Wolf. The podcast is one of the only father-son collaborations in comedy, offering a unique perspective on family dynamics, life on the road, and trending topics. Wolf has also written and acted on hit shows like My Name is Earl, All of Us, and Raising Hope. He has been a regular panelist on the acclaimed comedy program Lights Out with David Spade and has made numerous guest appearances on legendary programs such as The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. As an author, Wolf penned the 2013 New York Times best-seller It Takes Balls: Dating Single Moms and Other Confessions from an Unprepared Single Dad. Currently, he is wrapping up his "High on Life" tour, performing at venues across the U.S., and in post for his forthcoming one-hour special, THE CAMPFIRE SPECIAL, which blends music and comedy and features an array of musical guests. The special will be released in late 2025, marking his fourth special in the past six years, further solidifying his prolific career. In addition to touring, Wolf has a weekly residency at Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club in Las Vegas. Leveraging his strong presence on social media and YouTube, Wolf has amassed over 7 million followers across platforms and more than 250 million views on his YouTube channel alone, continuing to further expand his reach and deepen his connection with fans.

  • Amazingly funny

The son was funny as the MC. The opener was also very funny and the stories brought up on tour were amazing. Josh Wolf was well worth the price of admission and then some. An amazingly funny guy.

  • Punchline

by Olivia on 12/31/24Punch Line Houston - HoustonRating: 4 out of 5

The two drink minimum should have nonalcoholic options, we both felt weird leaving full drinks left on the table. Maybe it could have been explained better since it’s a newer venue, or printed somewhere on the virtual menu. The volume for the actual comedy was also insanely loud. We will definitely be back, Josh Wolfe was fantastic and I love how easy the venue is to get to with how accessible parking is.

  • Josh Wolf - The Queen (Delaware)

The facility is great, love the atmosphere. Josh Wolf is hilarious, as always. I love the crowd work he does. It makes the experience that much better.

  • Side splitting fun

Josh Wolf slayed the crowd with his irreverent humor, always pushing boundaries but never feeling outside of his comedic intent. He masterfully includes his audience into his stories and jokes. Highly recommend catching his show.

Josh and his son Jake both did an amazing job. The opener (I can't remember his name) was really good too. I can't wait for Josh to come back to the Philly area again.

  • Great comic/Lousy beer

by Tony C. on 5/13/24Punch Line Philly - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time at the Punchline. I'm glad I went. The venue is decent the sound was good. The first two comics were funny and Josh Wolf was hilarious. Unfortunately I thought the beer selection sucked. I'd like to see better beer options and something other than the huge cans they serve. My wife got a mixed drink that was so loaded with syrup she couldn't even drink it.

This was our third time seeing Josh Wolf, in our third city. My husband and I always seem to find ourselves in a new spot where Josh is visiting and it’s become our thing! He has always given us a good show and my only regret was we didn’t stick around for a third pic. Can’t wait to see what city we’ll see him next time!

  • Overall great experience

by DaSpotlight on 4/16/24Gramercy Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I went to see Josh Wolf because my wife is a fan of his and want to see him live. Prior to this I know nothing about Josh Wolf, I would say overall the experience is great. He is a funny guy, interesting life experience. The theater seats are abit packed with very little space so obviously not that comfort, and there is one of those obnoxious lady behind me who screams alot, overhype everything just to try to get Josh's attention. As far as the show itself goes, I had a good time and I definitely would recommend it to anyone who just wanna destress and have a good laugh or a date for couples follow by dinner afterward.

  • Fun

I had a good time, Josh Wolf is pretty funny and the Wilma (venue) is great. I am not big into standup, but I do enjoy it. I got these tickets because my girlfriend loves it (she had a great time). So overall it was pretty great.
