  • It’s always fun to hang out with friends at KDays

by KL on 7/31/24Edmonton EXPO Centre - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

Always have to have my favourite: Mini donuts! Super dogs were cute. There was a huge crowd on Saturday, next time go on a weekday.

  • Theory of a Deadman KDays

by Concert goer on 7/23/24Edmonton EXPO Centre - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

The band was great. The venue not so much. The security did nothing to allow people from jumping the rails literally 12 inches behind him. When I complained while at the production they told me there was nothing they could do. Each person was to have a wristband so it would be obvious who should or shouldn't be there. I emailed kdays and they basically just brushed me off. Why pay for a ticket? They need more seating also.

  • Theory of A Deadman @K-Days!

by Cinderson on 7/23/24Edmonton EXPO Centre - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Watched Theory of a Deadman at K-days. It was a blast. The band was amazing. This is definitely a great way to catch a concert. Ticket price was reasonable too. $65.00 estimate for ticket price. Awesome experience. 😁🤘🏼👨🏻‍🎤

  • Disaster!!!

    by Lawley19 on 8/1/18Edmonton Northlands Grounds - EdmontonRating: 1 out of 5

Very poorly organized event. We went on a date night to ice cube and ended up leaving early. It was nearly impossible to get a drink there and after queuing for 45 minutes they closed the bar as a punishment to the people that got threw the fence into the vip area!! Seriously??!!! It was so over crowded we were watching it from the fun fair. The crowd was aggressive to and full of teens with extra large pupils!! Don’t go and definitely don’t let your kids go! Also messaged the organizers and heard nothing back! I was even offered free tickets from our neighbors and turned them down!! So bad!!!

  • Meh...

by ETphonegnome on 8/1/18Edmonton Northlands Grounds - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

Nothing has changed...same games, same food, same rides, and same shopping (except this year it seemed like there were less vendors). The layout and location of all the shops hasn’t changed for years! I still enjoy walking around the grounds ( I go for games, food, and shopping) and love that our city puts on events like this. I look forward to KDays every year...just wish they changed more things up!

  • Still in awe

Seeing ice cube has been on my bucket list for years...I never thought I’d ever get the chance to cross it off. Then I found out that he was performing at K-Days and I KNEW I had to make it happen!!! I was sooooo impressed that K-Days was bringing Ice Cube to perform. Literallt above and beyond in my eyes. The concert was incredible. The only the I wish is that there were more premium party tickets available, but overall, I can’t complain. Approx $20 to see Ice Cube (and any other artists performing), including admission to K-Days = happy camper. I have paid more to see people I didn’t even care about. AMAZING deal. As long as you get there a little early, guaranteed to have a great spot in the crowd in my opinion. Screens being up higher in the future for people further in the back may be a huge benefit. I had a decent spot in the crowd but was sometimes a little hard to see depending on where Ice Cube was on the stage, and I personally found it a little challenging to see the screen sometimes as well because of peoples heads blocking it (but was still amazing, don’t get me wrong!). The only other thing that I wasn’t amazed with was the price of food at K-days. I know it’s like that at any carnival, but still something that I don’t think is right. I paid $7 for a thin, SMALL piece of pizza. If you go to a pizza shop outside of K-days you can get a huge slice of pizza with a can of pop for about $5. Huge rip off. People love carnival food, but this makes it extremely hard for people do afford it sometimes, especially if you add the cost of rides on to it as well. Overall, amazing concert. Life changing experience. Always a few things that can be improved. But all in all, thank you K-days for bringing Ice Cube to Edmonton!!!
