About

NGHTMRE, the leader of the new school of genre-busting electronic titans, returns to Australia and New Zealand for his biggest run of headline dates yet! The North Carolina native has taken the global electronic scene by storm since debuting in 2015, playing at every major festival and venue in North America and taking his high-energy set across Europe and Asia. Heralded by his Nuclear Bonds EP with long-time mates Slander, his Mad Decent trap anthem Street and official remixes for everyone from The Prodigy and Theophilus London to The Griswalds and Flux Pavilion, NGHTMRE is a diverse talent who’s on absolute fire.

His career reached new heights this year, when he came to Australia to support the legendary Flosstradamus in support of their collaborative Lighters Up single, tearing through audiences at the continent’s premier venues. He proceeded to return to America where he debuted the insane Atom Stage at his and Slander’s sold-out Hollywood Palladium run, a stage design which Billboard described as a “massive, swirling smorgasbord of lights, lasers, and video in the shape of physics' favourite little buddy”. The Atom Stage went on tour with the boys as part of their joint Gud Vibrations shows, with NGHTMRE taking the occasional break from the North American tour to play stages across Europe and Asia.

With recent releases frequently distinguished by industry bible BillboardMagazine, NGHTMRE is among the most in-demand names in electronic music, and returns this summer in what will be an experience you won’t soon forget.

  • GOOD GOD SUCH A GOOD SHOW!

by Lyssa on 11/13/23WAMU Theater - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Nghtmre opened his own show. I'm sober, and I had to remind myself of that, because the lights were absolutely stunning. I've seen Nghtmre and Netsky before, but JFC it was one of my favorite shows in a very long time!

  • Amazing

by Helen on 11/11/23WAMU Theater - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

What a great show, I had such an amazing time - it was a great set with well thought out lasers + pyrotechnics. One of my favourites, can't wait to catch NGHTMRE again soon 🙌

  • Great show, facilities need work

by Brooks on 11/8/23WAMU Theater - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I really had a great time dancing at nightmare, I thought the crowd and show was great. I really also enjoyed the staff at WaMu, they're always really pleasant to interact with from security to facilities staff. My only complaint is the automatic waterbottle dispensers; they don't work! What the heck? We have to stand in line, wasting water and creating a mess to fill up our bottles. If the automatic sensors don't work then replace them with push button ones. I brought my own bottle thinking I would be conserving resources by not buying water but all I really did was waste a ton of water. Please fix this, and add more dispenser stations.

  • Wet and Wild

by Bdog on 10/2/23Armory - MinneapolisRating: 3 out of 5

Torrential rain made the dancefloor 50% unsafe as the water pooled over half of the mainfloor. Even with the mopper crew mopping the floor and bathrooms, it wasn't enough. Should have moved everyone up or taken some more time to get square before the other shows started.Water to drink was 8$, interestingly though, not ok. Rail drinks were cheaper than brand name but must be the literal lowest level. First DJ up had tech and sound issues, felt bad for them. Rest were fine with less issues overall. Didn't hate it, but didn't love it either.

  • When's the next show?

by Matt on 10/2/23Armory - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first big EDM show outside of smaller outdoor shows and it did not disappoint. The openers started things off right, on top of Nghtmre's throwback set, which led to Nghtmre and Joyryde throwing down a set that simply cannot be described. No words will ever do it justice. Happy to have experienced that and I'm looking forward to more.

Love the throwback sets , the way him and joyride played throw backs was so good, the lighting the bass was all perfect , I would want to relive that experience again .

  • Absolute legend

by Blake on 5/16/23Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

NGHTMRE truly is one of the best people you can see live. His shows are always really well put together and fun to attend. Virtual Riot was also pretty cool. The tabernacle is a cool venue downtown with decent parking all around it.
