okay
by madeleine on 6/1/25Brooklyn Paramount - BrooklynRating: 3 out of 5this was not the best venue for this music. slower paved indie and shoegaze shows would be better at theaters where everyone is sat down. it usually encourages the crowd to be quieter and more attentive, and a lot of people yapping around me because they didnt care about the openers (one of which ive been waiting to see live for almost ten years) made the show experience a lot worse. the stage setup was uninspired, and the showmanship was subpar. the trippy camera visuals were kinda cool but very low effort. ive been to cheaper shows at smaller venues where there were dancers with costume changes, and each song had an animated video projected behind the musicians. (the recent of montreal tour) I understand both panchiko and alisons halo have not put on shows in a long time, but well.
