First time hearing Marcus King live. Very talented artist.

  • More than expected

by Minga on 4/21/25Ting Pavilion - CharlottesvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Marcus King was spectacular! I wasn't as familiar with him but have now found a new appreciation for his music. It's as if Chris Stapleton, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Meatloaf had a baby!

Enjoyed meeting the band before the show. Nice VIP experience. The show was fantastic and we enjoyed the opening acts too.

  • Good and bad

by Plebobin on 4/18/25Montgomery Performing Arts Centre - MontgomeryRating: 3 out of 5

Marcus was good when you could hear him. Bass player was way too loud as was the keyboard. When they were all really. jamming it was a mess. Ok when it was just him or quieter songs. Cut the bass noise in half lose the keyboard and the 2 nd guitar. Less would be better.

  • Marcus King Montgomery

by Marcus fan on 4/18/25Montgomery Performing Arts Centre - MontgomeryRating: 5 out of 5

Great venue at Montgomery Performing Arts Center. So classy. Marcus was great - but surprised he didn’t play much off his newest album - especially the cover song.

  • Could have been great

by Sprat on 4/15/25Pensacola Saenger Theatre - PensacolaRating: 1 out of 5

I love the Marcus King Band. They were great as usual but, we paid $110.00 for our tickets and we were in the only seats in the theater that someone was standing up. We asked the usher to ask them to sit down they would not. We asked to be moved and there was 6 of us so no where for us to go. It was about 4 sometimes 5 people standing and they would not sit at all, so everyone behind them couldn't see a thing. We left and so did the people directly in front of us and the people all the way to the back. So there was just this weird row where everyone left. When we left we told the police that they should do something when that happens they said they could not but the artist could. I am sure that he couldn't see this was happening. I will go see him again but certainly not at this venue. Or anything else at this venue. Very disappointed about this venue and the way they handled this for us and all of the other people that left.

  • Unreal Musician

    by B List on 4/14/25Ting Pavilion - CharlottesvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Incredible voice and great outdoor venue to listen to MKB.

  • Phenomenal show in the drizzly cold

    by Mike G on 4/14/25Ting Pavilion - CharlottesvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent show. Dog park was an enthusiastic opener. Marcus and the band were solid. A nice mix of excellent work on the guitar and some classy ballads. What a voice! The bass was thumping in a good way. Well done!

  • Start time

by Elmo on 4/14/25Ting Pavilion - CharlottesvilleRating: 3 out of 5

Marcus King didn’t take the stage until after 9:00 pm a little more than 2hrs after the gates opened we had lawn seats and sat in the drizzle and rain and temperatures in the 40’s for those 2 hours other than that Marcus King was awesome will rethink going the next time to Ting Pavilion

  • Miss the horns!

by Marcus Fan on 4/14/25Ting Pavilion - CharlottesvilleRating: 3 out of 5

The venue was ok. Marcus solo songs were outstanding. The guitars try to out play each other and need to understand that louder does not equal better. Marcus’ voice was sometimes drowned out - better sound mix needed for sure!

  • The man was BORN to sing the BLUES!

by Barbwire on 4/14/25Ting Pavilion - CharlottesvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Marcus King opens his mouth and emotion comes pouring out. His guitar playing is comparable to many of the blues greats and he's a joy to watch on stage. This man was BORN to sing the BLUES!

  • Unbelievable Talent, Leaves you wanting more!

by Ashley on 4/14/25Ting Pavilion - CharlottesvilleRating: 5 out of 5

If you’re impressed by the songs you hear by Marcus King via whatever platform you use, the in-person experience is life-changing. He is just so damn good, you won’t want the concert to end!!

  • Sound System was horrible

by Daisy May on 4/14/25Pensacola Saenger Theatre - PensacolaRating: 2 out of 5

What a shame that the sound system was so bad that you really could not distinguish sounds.

  • Awesome Venue

by DA on 9/30/24Fillmore Minneapolis presented by Affinity Plus - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The Fillmore Minneapolis is a great place to see a show.

  • MAGIC

by 867-5309Jenny on 9/30/24Fillmore Minneapolis presented by Affinity Plus - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I was anticipating a fantastic show, but Marcus King surpassed my expectations and blew the roof off the Fillmore. His musicality is comparable to that of the legends, especially considering his ability to sing and play across so many genres. His music is influenced by a wide variety of styles, creating a magical and mystical sound with a timbre that soothes the soul. The sound quality at the Fillmore is exceptional.

  • Awesome event. I would go again.

  • Marcus King Family Reuinon

by Steve on 8/30/24CCNB Amphitheatre at Heritage Park - SimpsonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen Marcus King 4 times and he's better every time. He leaves it all out there. The entire event was great, I went both days. Some awesome artists. Another one of my favorites, the Avett Brothers, brought the good vibes to close Sunday! Great venue, I love Heritage Park! Can't wait for next year!

  • Marcus does it again..

by bwhathens on 8/30/24CCNB Amphitheatre at Heritage Park - SimpsonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

What a fantastic weekend in a lovely little town. From the hospitality, to the food curated by absolutely wonderful chefs, to the drinks, to the out of this world talent on stage, and to all of the wonderful people I met and became friends with - Marcus and his team put together a festival I will return to over and over again. Cheers!

  • Fantastic Music! Hyper security urgh

by Maaark on 8/28/24CCNB Amphitheatre at Heritage Park - SimpsonvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Marcus presented a two day show that was fantastic in every way. It helped that the weather was perfect too. The negative, and this was universally agreed by all friends, the security was too much and often inconsistent and unorganized! No cans were allowed in the vip so we all poured beverage into cups provided. Ok fine. No one on stage wants beer cans tossed. But then some of the security did not allow plastic bottle caps. Then on 2nd day some would not allow any plastic bottles. 1st day I took in my spray sunscreen, but 2nd day they would not permit spray cans of sunscreen. Maybe just state your policies in writing for consistency. Also, we prefer reasonable security over hyper-security.
