The Weeknd is a Grammy-winning R&B/pop artist from Toronto, Ontario. He first gained recognition in 2009 after releasing music anonymously and sparked international acclaim with his 2011 breakthrough mixtapes House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence. The Weeknd’s albums Beauty Behind the Madness (2015) and Starboy (2016) established him as a pop phenomenon, earning multiple Grammy Awards and producing chart-topping hits like "Can't Feel My Face." His 2020 album After Hours became his fourth set to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200. In 2021, he performed at the Super Bowl LV halftime show, further cementing his status as a global pop superstar. His sixth studio album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, was released on January 31, 2025. For nearly a decade, The Weeknd has consistently sold out stadiums worldwide, and is set to continue his record-smashing After Hours Til Dawn Tour through 2025. Outside of music, The Weeknd has donated millions of dollars to humanitarian causes, including establishing the XO Humanitarian Fund in 2022 in partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme. In 2021 he was named a Goodwill Ambassador for the WFP and has also donated to other causes including COVID-19 relief, Black Lives Matter and Los Angeles wildfire relief.

my first time seeing The Weeknd at Sofi Stadium- an amazing surreal experience!! I was not bored not one second! He’s an amazing singer and performer & had me singing for my life.. 10/10 experience 🫶🏽 xotwod
The Weeknd was so absolutely awesome. He did almost all of his songs which, of course, as a fan I really appreciated hearing the old stuff! His stage show was spectacular! The precision of the “troops” was really on point. The light show was great and he made it around to all sides of the stadium. The wrist lights were a nice touch too. He doesn’t need an opener, just sayin.
The sound was awful! I could not make a word out of his songs.
The sound at the concert was really bad. I couldn’t tell what the artist was saying. I loved thr lights but sometimes they were too much for my eyes. The lights and smoke very hard to see the artist. I wish they would’ve introduced the artists because with low quality sound, not being able to see the artist and the artists literally wore masks and were covered up, I didnt know who they were.
When i tell you going once wasn’t enough i had to go twice for night one and night 4 and let me tell you it was even more fun on floor i was seated in row 4 seat 14 and wow
This was my first time going to the Sofi Stadium and my first time going The Weeknd’s concert. It was amazing. The security and employees were all really nice, friendly, and helpful. The sound of the music was amazing and the whole experience was just really awesome. The lights, the fire, the fireworks were so cool. I had so much fun at the Sofi. I will definitely be coming back maybe for a football game or maybe to more concerts. I recommend people coming to the Sofi. If you get a chance.
