No where on any of the ticket vendor sites was "film preview"mentioned, leading myself and many other fans and attendees to believe that this would be a live concert, not a movie screening. I NEVER would have paid as much for a movie screening had I know. A total disappointment.
Ticketmaster did not make it clear at all that this was a film showing and not a concert. Absurd to charge the prices they did.
The movie was beautiful as is Miley and her new album is really good. There was a lot of confusion about what this was - a movie, performance, both, neither - and that was evident from the audience reactions and personally. I even did live chat when I was buying tickets and asked if she would be there live and if there was a performance and was told yes. Not true. She was there and did a talk back - so we saw her - but for the price there should have been clarity on that and frankly even singing 3 or 4 songs acoustic would have been plenty. Thankfully she did one and it was my daughter's favorite so that made it worth it. But it was disappointing to think one thing, buy expensive tickets, travel, and then really just see a movie. Very cool that it was Tribeca and a world premiere, but it could have been way more clear up front. Some in the audience were rude about it which wasn't called for, but I understood and felt the same frustration.
I was expecting much more of Miley Cyrus for the amount of money that I paid for the tickets that totaled almost $1600 She did not sing. I understand it was a visual album, but it would’ve been nice if she could of sang a couple of songs being that that’s a lot of money.
Felt mislead or I misread the description of the event but I still had a good time. Felt like it was going to be more of a concert but it didn’t turn out that way.
Event was advertised as a live performance aka a concert. It was a movie viewing and Q&A. Absolutely devastated, along with seemingly the whole crowd, that Miley didn’t actually perform. I wish ai could get my money back
the expectations were different, for the ticket prize the expectation was to have a concert with Miley Cyrus where she would sing her new album. I think just the marketing given for the event was not appropriate
So I paid 800$ for a movie and not a concert! It was awful experience
Great to see Casino up on the big screen. And the discussion before the film with Scorsese and DeNiro was outstanding. I could listen to Scorsese talk films all day
