About
Xscape are a multi platinum-selling R&B girl group from Atlanta, Georgia. The group released their debut album, Hummin’ Comin’ at ‘Cha in 1993 after being discovered by Jermaine Dupri. The LP contained hit singles “Just Kickin’ It” and “Understanding,” both of which topped the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and landed in the Top 10 on the Hot 100. Later albums Off The Hook (1995) and Traces of My Lipstick (1998) spawned further Top 10 singles like “Who Can I Run To” (another R&B No. 1), “The Arms of the One Who Loves You” and “My Little Secret.” Xscape went on hiatus in the late ‘90s and didn’t reunite with all four members until 2017, when they performed at the BET Awards and the 2018 Essence Festival. Since then, Xscape have parlayed their reunion into two Bravo series — Xscape: Still Kickin’ It in 2019 and SWV & Xscape: The Queens of R&B in 2023. In 2024, the current lineup of Kandi Burruss, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle-Harris and Tamika Scott will embark on a co-headlining tour with SWV titled The Queens of R&B Tour.

Xscape’s The Queens of R&B Tour with SWV started in June 2024. After opening in Concord, California, the tour covered much of the U.S. through the middle of August.
Along with co-headliners SWV, Xscape was joined on The Queens of R&B Tour by openers MYA, Total and 702.

Not what I expected

Concert “started” at 6, however openers did not come on til 7 which is okay giving the traffic around the arena. Xscape did not come on until 10:30pm and sounded like robots! I’m sorry it was a waste of time and money in my opinion and this was the 4th concert I’ve been to this year.
