Timeless
by Buzzetta on 6/7/25UBS Arena - Belmont ParkRating: 5 out of 5Billy Joel’s New Year’s Eve concert was absolutely unforgettable. From the start with Movin' Out, concert goers felt the high energy that comes on New Year's Eve. The setlist was packed with crowd-pleasers like Piano Man, My Life, and Movin’ Out, but what really stood out were the unexpected moments—like Nessun Dorma showcasing Mike DelGuidice and a powerhouse duet of Whole Lotta Love with Jason Bonham. The energy in the arena was electric, and Billy's voice sounded strong all night. You could feel how much the audience appreciated every song. The midnight celebration was timed perfectly, and the atmosphere in the arena was full of joy and connection. From deep cuts like Souvenir to the rock-and-roll encore that included Scenes From an Italian Restaurant, Big Shot and You May Be Right, the whole evening felt thoughtfully crafted. It was more than just a concert—it was a celebration of a legendary career and the start of a new year, all rolled into one. Always looking forward to the next Billy Joel show...
