  • Exceeded my expectations

by Charlie S on 4/8/25Broward Center - Fort LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

I registered for this walking mystery expecting a fairly standardized "scavenger hunt experience". However, the level of professionalism, materials, clues, props, and cast support were the best I've ever seen for this type of walking mystery. We were thoroughly engaged and entertained for over 3 hours. I'm already looking forward to the next experience produced by this company.

Event was fun, even if we didn’t finish. Some pros and cons to share. Maybe stagger the people participating a little more. At a few points there were so many of us at one clue it was too much. Especially when we were inside a business. This leads to my second suggestion. Maybe keep us out of all of the businesses. I felt bad for the cashier at Hoffman’s when there was a store full of people trying to read the clue and nobody buying anything. And maybe condense the distance between clues. It was coming up on 2.5 hours and we had just gotten all our clues. Lots of walking….. A few pros to share were that the people involved were very friendly and made it fun. Activity was something new and fun to do in the city, and gets you out on foot to maybe some businesses you might not have known about. Hope it continues!

  • So much fun and truly challenging!

    by Melissa R. on 4/6/25Rating: 5 out of 5

I picked up a ticket last minute to go with five other friends, and we really just had an amazing time! The Butlers are good.storytellers and do a good job of helping you get started. Read all of the reviews except for the bad one. I can't imagine someone not having a good time with this. You really do have to read all the clues. Take pictures of everything, use the booklet they give you, and the internet resources. You're not going to be able to start figuring it out until you're almost done. Take the time and discuss it together, and pay attention to the details. I would absolutely do this again and recommend it to family and friends

  • A fun experience

The Mystery of who killed Boddy Black is back. The characters have been given modern updates with a bit more backstory. The event began with a butler escorting us to our first clue. Listen carefullt to the butler and their directions. They give hints about about how the first clue works as well as signs posted along the way. The first clue is cleverly designed to be both a clue and instructions as to the rest of the game. I recommend anyone doing this bring a cell phone and learn how to switch between front and back cameras (the first clue, under the direction of a butler, requires this as do others). The detective note book you receive contains clues, information and plenty of space to write your observations. Follow their advice and wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. There is walking, bending and standing involved. The only downside was our fault. I wish I had booked an earlier time. When booking book early you have more flexibility to stop and have lunch at one of the many restaurants, pubs or cafe's you visit/pass. We did have dinner at one site which housed a clue (after we were done) and we purchased coffee and snacks along the way. Another couple who started with us, but had a separate route, finished at the same time but they also stopped for snacks. It was a great time and I have friends purchasing tickets for the final weekend.

  • Got the person/weapon, just hope they didn't slip away!

by Kyle and Rachel on 3/26/25Broward Center - Fort LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Rachel has been a big fan of the game and the movie for a long time so while in Fort Lauderdale, I thought this would be a great activity to do. It was so much fun, the walking, the sights, the tour of the area and the butlers! We were able to get the person and the weapon, but couldn't figure out the room, but I'll take 2 out of 3! The one thing that we thought might help would be staggering every 30 minutes instead of every 20. Three times we were slowed down, waiting for other sleuths to look at a clue and due to one of those we missed a piece of evidence. But overall, it was a fun and active activity!!

  • Sooo fun

We had so much fun even though we weren’t able to solve it. 😂

  • A Unique and Fun Night

by Kristen M on 3/25/25Broward Center - Fort LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

It was fun walking around Las Olas and finding clues. I like that I didn’t feel rushed by a hard time cutoff. The clues were well thought of and the Butlers were fun and stayed in character. My only issue was at one of the sites, a DJ had his equipment on and around the clue so we missed the knife sticking out. Everything was great and I would recommend.

  • Lost Interest

by JR on 3/24/25Broward Center - Fort LauderdaleRating: 3 out of 5

I went with a friend. We found the whole thing convoluted more than clever. At times we said, “What are we supposed to do here?” We lost interest after about three stops.
