  • Great show, meh venue

by Brandie on 5/26/25Tulalip Resort Casino - TulalipRating: 3 out of 5

Richard Marx put on an excellent show as usual. Unfortunately, the orca ballroom is not set up for an actual concert. The seating is ridiculous. You can’t see anything but TV screens at best when they’re actually working. Probably will reconsider ever going to a show at Tulalip in the future.

Richard was great! The sound was perfect. Only issue was I was on the left side looking at the stage, 7 rows back and the left speaker was a bit too low for us seeing the screen behind him. If the speaker needs to stay there then all the side screens need to be showing what he’s showing there.

  • Seating nightmare

by Frozen on 5/26/25Tulalip Resort Casino - TulalipRating: 1 out of 5

I love RM concert, always the best. I gave him 5 star but not the seating arrangement is really bad. Flat seating arrangement isn't good especially for short people. The stage lighting isn't good either. I watched the screen this entire time just like watching a concert on youtube. Very expensive ticket for the price. The chair is very uncomfortable.

  • Richard sounded and looked as good as ever!!!

by Beth on 5/26/25Tulalip Resort Casino - TulalipRating: 5 out of 5

Richard performed an acoustic show, which I wasn't expecting. I've seen him in concert 3 times (in the late 80's) and he's always had a full band with him. However, his voice is so strong, and he played rhythm guitar so well that I got the full effect of his songs with just him and his guitar! He has such a clear, pitch-perfect voice with just enough rasp, and he sounds just as good as he did in the 1980's. He clearly takes good care of himself and was so funny and engaging with the audience. It was so great to hear his stories, and his performance with his sons in the video was beautiful! It was such an enjoyable 2 hours where I didn't think about anything else but listening to his beautiful music. He is a testament to the fact that you can be the best version of yourself in your 60's and beyond! Go see Richard in one of his upcoming shows!!!

  • A pretty good show!

by MCPOBullet on 5/26/25Tulalip Resort Casino - TulalipRating: 4 out of 5

The show/performance itself was good. I had some different thoughts when I noticed prior to the show starting that there was no band. It all turned out really good though. The guy can sing and perform! The one thing that DOES need to get fixed is the stage at the venue. The stage needs to be more elevated!! It is not stadium seating in the Orca ballroom at the Tulalip Casino. If you have some tall people sitting in front of you, your view of the stage is blocked. If the stage was elevated more, the problem would be solved and everyone will have a much better experience!

  • Venue Getting Worse

by PB on 5/26/25Tulalip Resort Casino - TulalipRating: 1 out of 5

Sat in 5th row on right. Could hear staff talking behind black curtain for 1/2 the show. A light in the walkway made it harder to see. Servers traipsed past during the whole concert. Photographer stood right in the way of my visual field. Will not return.

  • An Acoustic Evening with Rick Sprigfield and Richard Marx

    by suzy1270 on 2/21/25Rating: 5 out of 5

A bucket list show for me. I caught them on Feb 18th in Huntsville Alabama. As a long time fan of both singers I was excited to hear they were coming close to me. It felt like I was 17 again seeing and hearing them live together made my week. Plus getting to hear some of my favorite songs acoustically was a plus. They are fun and entertaining and a must see if you are an 80's teenager.

  • Richard Marx still ROCKS!

by Susan on 2/20/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Saw Richard Marx and Rick Springfield in Nashville at the Ryman on 2/19/25. His voice hasn’t changed and the songs took me back to the 80’s and 90’s, when life was simple. The concert was acoustic setting. He and Rick sang together and apart while telling stories about their songs/song writing. Do NOT hesitate- his voice better in person and you WON’T be disappointed. I can’t wait for him to come around again! Can’t say enough about how clear and strong his voice still is!!

Went to the Richard Marx on December 13th at the Arena Theater. It was an amazing experience. Richard Marx is such a phenomenal performer and the venue was such a up close and intimate setting. It felt more like a jam session with the artist and you were a part of it. Had to be one of the best performances and experiences I have ever had!!!!!😊😊😊
