  • Great show w/unique lineup

by Ben on 2/26/25House of Blues Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

Things started off with New Zealanders, Alien Weaponry. They were tight and entertaining. Kind of like an Aussie version of 90s Sepultura. Municipal Waste continued the night in great fashion. Fast, short, sharp songs with great banter in between. Then came the King himself. I'm surprised he didn't just call this band Repentless, as this is just a continuation of that album. It is an improvement on that sound due to better singing and guitar playing. Phil Demmel is a phenom and really not appreciated as much as he should be. Simply amazing guitarist. Mark Osegueda is one of my all time favorite metal singers. So I won't be able to give a fair review. Can't wait to see what else this band does.

Your venue is awesome! Love going here. If i only had one complaint is that they suck at calling back after leaving messages. I wanted to get information on how to get a seat, but no call back. Not good. Other than that it was great.

Good: Municiple Waste. I came only to see these guys. I won’t miss them when they come through town. Excellent performance and showmanship always. I arrived just before their set started and left just after it finished. Bad: Kerry King placing a tax on Municipal Waste’s merchandise leading to a more than 30% increase in price. Also bad: The House of Blues charging $6.50 for a Diet Coke. Come on guys. That’s ridiculous.
