I had no idea what to expect. We love listening to The Paper Kites on Pandora so we decided to grab tickets to the Chicago Concert. No words can describe how much we loved this concert and the amazing venue (Thalia Hall). The entire experience was almost spiritual! We cannot wait for the next US tour!!!!!
We love The Paper Kites so much and attend their shows every time they come to our area. This was our fifth time seeing them live and the performance has been absolutely incredible every single time, hands down. The range of songs they play, the way they coordinate all those band members instruments and the harmony, oh the harmony. 🥹 It's one of the things that gripped me the first time I ever heard their music. You guys have a lifelong fan in me! 💜💜💜
The Paper Kites put on a great show! Super indie vibes, come in expecting a slowwww start before they wrap up with some good dance moments at the end.
The sold out show was filled with songs from the past and some music from the current album at the Road House out now. The crowd sang along the room was filled with die hard fans and many new ones to come. Lead singer Sam Bentley has a voice like pure silk. Perfect harmonies fill your ears and warm your heart when the group sings. What a charming songstress with great lyrics and an angelic voice, Bella White is the opening act. If you've never seen them live. Check out this awesome group.
The Paper Kites and Bella White were everything I'd hoped for and went beyond the standard concert experience. The packed venue was filled with glorious sound from different combinations of musicians from The Paper Kites, Bella White, and the Roadhouse band and a wide variety of instruments. There was also a wide variety of musical moods and styles that kept the whole audience entranced throughout. The lighting design and execution beautifully supported the music in a way I hadn't experienced before. Even the venue staff were friendly and highly efficient in getting people into this general admission event.
They were very punctual, very pleasant, their songs are beautiful and sound exactly like on Spotify. Their music means a lot to me and seeing them live, and it being much more than I expected, made me feel immensely happy and grateful to be present that night.
Fantastic venue, Fantastic attendees, Fantastic Group after all it is The one and only group The Paper Kites. A don't pass up the opportunity to attend one of their concerts when they come to your city.
The Paper Kites are officially a MUST SEE band!! The mixing of the sound was so incredibly perfect, no note sung out of key, no wrong chord played, they truly are a magical band!! Their sound was so perfect, it was as close as listening to the recorded versions of the songs without them faking it♥️ I have never cried so much at a concert! Truly and I mean TRULY love them!
