About

Vampire Weekend is a two-time Grammy-winning alternative rock band currently composed of frontman Ezra Koenig, bassist Chris Baio and drummer Chris Tomson. Emerging from the mid-aughts indie rock scene in New York City out of Columbia University, Vampire Weekend released their self-titled debut to immediate critical and commercial success in 2008, with the album debuting at No. 17 on the Billboard 200 and its breakout single “A-Punk” earning an RIAA platinum certification. The band’s 2010 follow-up Contra confirmed their ascent after debuting atop the Billboard 200, while the single “Cousins” became their first song to hit the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart. The band’s 2013’s effort Modern Vampires of the City similarly topped the Billboard 200 and garnered the band’s first Grammy Award. 2019’s Father of the Bride became their third album to debut at No. 1 and netted the band its second Grammy. Vampire Weekend released their fifth studio album Only God Was Above Us in April 2024, marking their fifth consecutive album to debut in the Top 40 on the Billboard 200. The group celebrated the release of their fifth album with a major North American tour in 2024, which saw the band play arenas around the country—including two hometown shows at New York City's Madison Square Garden.

  • Great Concert

by michael on 11/9/24Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

It was an awesome experience. The security was fast and helpful. One of the security guards told us we could move closer to the stage if we found some seats that weren't taken once the show started which was very friendly.

  • LOVED This Concert SO SO Much

by Heather C. on 11/7/24The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

One of THE BEST concerts I've ever seen. They sound even better in person. Is that even possible? I tried to book another show but they were going overseas. If I was rich I would have booked a flight immediately. Everything about their show was enjoyable. The visuals were just enough to be fun but not take away from the music. Everyone at the show also felt that way - it was a Vampire Weekend lovefest and we had an amazingly good time. I flew from MD to FL to see them as I have wanted to see them live for many, many years and could never make a show in MD. I look forward to them coming back and touring near me in 2025.

  • Unforgettable Energy: Vampire Weekend Live

by Abby on 10/29/24Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt it was essential to share my incredible experience with Vampire Weekend. They truly deserve all the praise in the world! From the moment they took the stage, the energy was electric. The quality of their live music is nothing short of outstanding. It’s clear that they pour their heart and soul into every performance, curating perfect renditions of their songs that elevate the experience beyond what you hear on the recordings. Each note resonated with passion, and I found myself completely immersed in the music. What really stood out to me was how effortlessly they connected with the crowd. It felt like we were all part of something special together. Their ability to engage and uplift the audience made every moment memorable. I left the concert feeling exhilarated and grateful for the experience. If you ever get the chance to see Vampire Weekend live, I wholeheartedly recommend it! You won’t just be attending a concert; you’ll be part of a magical experience that celebrates the joy of music.

  • Blinding Light Show

by Chris Gee on 10/20/24Moody Center ATX - AustinRating: 3 out of 5

Started off great, then got low energy towards the end. Biggest thing was the super blinding lights pointed at the audience. I get that helps discourage the concert being published on YouTube but these lights were super bright. Love Vampire Weekend.

  • Worth the wait!!!

by Mary on 10/19/24The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been waiting for years to see them live. The last couple times they came to town I couldn’t get tickets. I got pit tickets for this show and I was blown away. It was an awesome close view and their performance is amazing. They drew the audience in and part of the show for one song, A Punk, a guy from the audience played guitar! So cool and it was almost a full moon night, beautiful!!!

  • Exceeded my expectations!

Band was great, venue is always a winner! Would like to see merch set up somewhere besides right in front of entrance. Line going up stairs was ridiculous, trying to get into seating area.
