About

Arcy Drive on Tour

Indie rock group Arcy Drive is made up of four close friends (Nick Mateyunas on vocals/rhythm guitar, Patrick Helrigel aka Helzi on bass/harmonica, Brooke Tuozzo on drums, and Austin Jones on lead guitar) from Long Island, New York. The quartet started playing music for fun and quickly gained a following with the help of TikTok.

After Tuozzo started the band's TikTok account on a whim, Arcy Drive's original videos began getting tens of thousands of views on the platform. They started playing their self-described "attic rock" music locally at live shows and house parties, and documented their restoration of a school bus into a tour bus, attracting fans across the country.

Mateyunas also studies at SUNY Maritime, and the band has been racing to record music before he ships out to complete his license.

Arcy Drive Live in Concert

Arcy Drive began life as a band in East Northport, New York. They rehearsed in drummer Brooke Tuozzo's shed on a street called Arcy Drive, which inspired the band's name.

Influenced by artists such as Mac DeMarco and Cold War Kids, Arcy Drive released their breakout single "Roll My Stone" in 2022, which garnered over 1 million streams in just two months. That same year they released the live album Attic Sessions, featuring the songs "Orange," "Colorado Kyle" and "Seaside."

Performing at dive bars and music halls across the country on their Barefoot Tour earned the band a devoted cult following, and their laid-back vibe and performance style are striking a chord with fans far and wide.

Arcy Drive has the most infectious energy that radiates throughout their crowd. Quite possibly the best intimate concert I’ve been to. Their choice of opening band, Blue Hour, was the perfect choice to hype up the crowd and set the tone for the night. Can’t wait to see where these two bands are headed! Will definitely be watching both again whenever their next shows are in LA or SD!

Arcy Drive is just starting out but don’t let that fool you. They have a sound like no other and a vibe that is immaculate. Would highly recommend seeing them when they come to your hometown. Give them a listen black widow girl.
