Jamie xx is a British composer, performer, music producer and artist, and is one of three members of The xx. In 2015 he released his GRAMMY, Brit, Ivor Novello and Mercury Music Prize-nominated debut solo album In Colour on Young. Jamie has toured widely, both as a member of The xx and a solo artist, his appearances range from small two hundred capacity underground club nights to sold-out arenas and headline slots at major festivals around the world. His euphoric and dynamic live sets have made him one of the most in-demand musician's and DJ in the world. "See you on the floor." - Jamie xx

by capkurt on 1/27/25WAMU Theater - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Not usually a big Wamu fan but the floor/lighting setup for Jamie XX’s set was nothing short of magical! 14/10 recommend

  • Absolute Perfection

by Jamie's Future Waifuuu on 1/21/25Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

From srart to finish it was totally perfect! From him ot saying a single word to us the whole time to the way he really gave such significant influence, gently but encouragingly guiding the whole evnue through a journey from the time I first started listening to him over a decade ago and was new to my own taste in music, through some groovy twists and turns that you weren't expecting, but NO DANCER LEFT BEHIND! No transition was too smooth or too eclectic to lose anyone hehe so the entire floor and the upstairs and the outskirts... all on the same beat and the same breath, with a man who is like a God to me , we welcomed 2025 in sync and were beautifully reminded of what music is, how it feels, and the vibes that can only be felt when we gather to appreciate it. Absolute perfection.

  • Incredible artist, oversold and greedy venue

by Dave on 1/20/25Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

Jamie is a legend. The set was immaculate. The venue was oversold and as always, the promoters and ticketers are squeezing every dollar they can out of people’s experience.

Great set. Vibes were great. Despite having upper balcony seats, the sound quality was great.

  • INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL

by hclim on 8/12/15Royale Boston - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

The buildup was incredible, and the crowd loved him, the lights were on point, definitely one of the prettiest sets I've ever seen!

  • went for a band, watched a dj. Felt pretty cheated

by stnr on 8/12/15Royale Boston - BostonRating: 1 out of 5

You'd think somewhere it would mention that Jamie XX was going to be DJing and not playing live. I mean, it's key information. It's not that he's a bad DJ, he's pretty good. But I've seen him DJ before and frankly I don't need to pay another 25 dollars to stand in a room with a few hundred people, with no atmosphere, and all stare at the front of the room watching a guy play records. To cap it all, you had a merch stand. At a DJ gig. This breaks some kind of cardinal rule. Oh, and Mike Simonetti was abominable. He wasn't even a good DJ.

  • Meh

by JoshuaFletcher on 8/12/15Royale Boston - BostonRating: 1 out of 5

The tough part about a DJ set is that there is nothing really happening on stage. The set list although good, was more like background music. You don't need to see this show live to enjoy his music. Plus Boston is a tough town to have a good crowd in, especially when it's electronica. between the stage performance and the crowd, I gotta give this a show a solid 'C-'

  • Fell in Love

by Anahataa on 8/12/15Royale Boston - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best concerts I have ever been to. The light show and way he had his music flow together could not have been more perfect. I would see him as many times as possible! Loved it!!
