    The lighting was typically horrible. LDs think they are the star of the show. Never mind illuminating the performers on stage, while blinding the audience. Most of the time you couldn't tell how many musicians there were and what instruments they were playing. I never saw the guitar player's guitar or the bass players face. He/she had a lot of hair. The sound was not very good either. A lot of sound people think all you have to do is make the kick drum louder than anything else. The bass guitar sounded like a one note drone through the subs and the guitar didn't sound like a guitar. The vocals were barely audible.

    Not a bad show, but lower energy and not super engaging. The band also didn't seem that into it so maybe that's what was up. I enjoy his music and like the venue they played, but it just lacked a bit.

    Loved Neal Francis and the band. Great playing and groovy jams. All musicians are skilled at the instruments. Show was a couple songs short though. Felt like 2 more songs would have been the sweet spot. The mix was oddly soft. Very hard to make out the vocals. I’ve been to several Brooklyn Bowl shows and this was notably more quiet. Not sure if they bring their own front of house guy but it should be a lot better. And I’m in a touring band for 35 years. I know the difference. But that aside great show. I’ll try to catch them again.

    Neal is brilliant, but it was hard to hear his vocals or even the keyboard. The drums were dominant. Would like to see an improvement in that area next time.

    Neal Francis and his band are amazing. This was the first time I’ve seen them and went at the recommendation of a friend. So glad I did. The band is super tight with great energy. Go see them! You won’t be disappointed.

    Rock n’ Roll & keyboards. Neal & his super tight band deliver with funky soaring grooves. Felt lucky to see him an intimate place like the Teragram along side a very inviting LA crowd of friends. 👌🏼
